Chapter 239: Send Him Out
Send Him Out
The Hightown is not a place for Blood Hunters
The four Rank Masters were alarmed now. They were wearing marked fleeces with the sign of Third Tower. The sign of third Tower show their position in the Third Block as well as their level of responsibility under the order. The sign was carved on their chests. They surely look stout and strict hunters with the strong positions. All of them were huge and well built. Their appearance was evidence of how powerful they happened to be in their peak states. Now they were elders and Rank Masters above from of every Hunter King.
There were ten stairs at the left where a Rank Master was standing. The other one was standing at the right. It seemed their six spots were also a sign of their current position in the Hightown. All of them have their own chamber which was openly built under the Tower so it did not look like a Hall. It was type of separately created spots for each Rank Master and the stairs lead toward every spot separately too. One of the spot was empty and the sixth Rank Master has yet to appear. All of them were sober just a moment ago but as soon as they saw the blood hunter; all of them were angry.
"He is indeed blood hunter and wanted to become a hunter under the guidance of the Hightown abiding all the rules." Qiao voiced and felt that unknowingly his throat turned dry. "Haha such ignorance does exist. A blood hunter is like a thirsty owl that loses its sense of decision when it gets thirsty." The Rank Master snickered. It was known rule that blood hunters were banned yet this young hunter was speaking up for a blood hunter; was he out of mind?
"And who are you to speak up for a blood hunter? Do you know who banned their race from hunting?" another Rank Master added in. The young hunter voiced clearly shows that his mind was not in mess or similar intents were not brewing in him. "The blood hunter told about it however there is a responsibility on the shoulders of the Hightown how can the elders neglect it?" Qiao voiced again before these experienced oldies make up the situation differently. The hunter was hearing the ongoing conversation. He cannot intervene in the middle. It would not look nice.
The Rank Master looked at each other. 'What they were neglecting. They were working everyday alert. Letting the hunters reach higher levels and do missions; taking Test Trials of the Hunter Kings, keeping strict eyes at the changes in the seven continents. The never sleeping Third Block checks the activities of the beasts. There were number of hidden quests to defeat or kill the threatening monsters. Few ongoing missions were suggested recently to destroy the Requiem level Beasts.' Half of the activities were under their lookout. It was impossible that they were acting ignorant on something important.
"You have not much standing in the Hightown to talk this way. You cannot bring someone blaming us that we are ignorant of our responsibilities." The Rank Master who was standing near Qiao voiced. "Instead we might prison you for bringing a blood hunter inside the Hightown." He threatened. "This elder I have yet to complete my words." Qiao spoke unfazed of his threat. There were several people resembling to the elders here. They only know how to suppress others without hearing the real problem. The Rank Master scrutinized him from head to toe and nodded. "What you have yet to explain?" he voiced unfriendly.
"A pure blood hunter can render services under the order of Hightown and in my view second chance should be given sometimes. I know there is a reason behind the ban but believe it or not the Hightown cannot guarantee of every normal hunter that he would not go against the conventional rules ever. I am sure there will be few for instance." Qiao voiced forceful. No one was perfect be it blood hunter or a normal hunter. The choices at the times can be selfish then only blaming the blood hunters for entirety was wrong.
His last words were carrying a blunt truth and the Rank Masters lowered their heads. Around four hundred years ago a normal hunter betrayed and started scheming against the Hightown with the help of Beasts. He was normal hunter and if considering then all the normal hunters should be banned from hunting. Suppose this goes on then who would be fighting against the monsters and Beasts? Of course no one will be there. Banning was not the right choice. For some time no one answered. They were speechless what to argue against it. The one standing on the big spot voiced, "Send these two hunters toward the Second Tower. I cannot decide about this conflict." He grimly spoke.
The Rank Master standing at their feet nodded and gestured them to follow him. They were sending them toward Second Tower to discuss and decide. If they fairly decided then it would be an event of history. But it all depended at the decision of the Rank Masters. Normally they were not cruel or block headed; they rationally hear every issue and then deliberate briefly on the topic after all their decisions would influence the fate of the Hightown. For Qiao it was fulfilling promise but for Hightown it was matter of innocent lives.
Deadwater followed behind. He wanted to see what would be the result of this strange chaos and the courageous young hunter. Would it that the Hightown may punish him for doing such daring deed?' 'As well what part he could take in this ongoing action?' it was not about speaking up for someone knowing that he has some business with him.
Qiao silently followed and gestured the blood hunter. Wuza was walking like dead log. He cannot tell what would be the result of the brother hunter's efforts. Nothing was predictable. Just taking a look at the grandeur of the Hightown he could return and tell several stories of unheard charm.
