Chapter 688: Third Move & Death
Chapter 688: Third Move & Death
On the other hand, Princess Jena did exactly the same move, using her long grown hair as a barrier around herself.
'Clangg, Claannnggg, Clannggg, screech'
The end result was unfortunately the same as the first time. Well not exactly, while they weren't able to actually break past the barrier that Princess Jena erected, they did manage to cut a few threads of hair.
Still, this didn't change the fact that they looked, and felt extremely weak and unable at that moment. The strength that Princess Jena was showing was something beyond their imagination.
Even if someone warned them of such prowess before entering this place, they would have never believed that Princess Jena was that strong.
In fact, they might have even mocked the person for being a scaredy-cat, that was speaking rubbish just because of his stupid fears.
But right now, they were unable to even think of something like that, as they were witnessing something fantastic like that, with their own eyes, and bodies.
Still, they weren't going to give up so soon! Certainly, Princess Jena was strong, but they had yet to use their full power, and their full combination.
Furthermore, who knew this might be just the work of some artifact she possessed, and as long as they drained the artifact out of energy she would return to her relatively weak self.
One thing was for sure though, none of them dared to actually hold back anymore. So, they immediately regrouped, and then jumped in attack once again.
This time, they were all in a line. Since their spread attacks didn't seem to work as they should, they decided to attack all at the same place, one after the other.
Normally this was a truly difficult thing to do, as it would take a long time of practice in order to perform it. Not to mention that the teamwork between them had to be high level.
Fortunately or unfortunately their group was able to pull it off. In fact, they had trained together from the moment they remembered to have joined Duke Gordon's house.
They had been treated with the best resources while receiving everything they wished. At the same time, they also trained and worked the hardest.
It's truly weird and surprising to see such a well-trained team under someone like Duke Gordon that was for sure, but the truth was that the foundations had been laid one or two generations before him.
This was one of the reasons why the big and old families are actually impossible to be completely weed out or destroyed in a short time.
Their Foundation.
In order to completely remove a big family, it would take at least 3 or 4 generations of useless idiots, that would only think about squandering and not actually earning.
No matter how sick the head was, the body would still continue to live until it had fully deteriorated.
But that didn't matter now, what it mattered was that those guys were extremely trained and strong. Their performance was close to spotless.
'Screechh, screecchhh, scrreeecchh...'
The moment that the first guy scratched with his claws at Princess Jena's hair barrier, the second had already arrived and did the same at the exact same spot.
10 screeching sounds one after the other rang in the surrounding area, as Princess Jena's barrier seemed to have become completely useless at that point.
The attackers might actually take pride in their selves, as they had completely revealed her beautiful face behind the air and felt that now things would be easier.
Even if they didn't manage to kill her, they should be more than able to injure her now that her barrier was done for.
Thinking like that, they immediately regrouped once again and prepared to launch another wave of attacks, but at that moment Princess Jena's face was adorned with an evil grin as she said,
"3 moves are over, say your farewells!"
The 10 experts were completely startled and shocked, as they realized that they had been able to produce such an effect against Princess Jena because she hadn't even moved, only protected.
But now her promise of three moves was over, but that wasn't even the worst part of this whole mess.
The worst part was that they remembered her words, 'before you make a fourth move you will all die'!
Earlier they had taken that as a joke and even mocked her for the words she said, but right now they couldn't think the same again.
They could feel their blood leave their body, as their temperature fell, and they felt like they had suddenly fallen to some icy prison.
For some reason, people that would even accept death just in order to kill or injure Princess Jena were now fearing their fate and her strength.
Too bad that it was too late for them, as the moment that they regrouped, they each felt their instincts ring as alarm clocks due to danger.
Before they could even make a move and abort their mission, some sharp and sturdy looking auburn threads appeared from below them and pierced their bodies into porcupines.
None of the 10 experts managed to survive that. With wide-opened eyes, and with regrets and sad faces they took their last breath and died.
Princess Jena just went over to them, and quickly extended her hand, as the blood from the bodies of the 10 experts started coming out of their orifices and then accumulating over her hand.
There wasn't much trace of emotion on her face, despite the fact that she felt that her emotions and instincts were about to rage.
But that never happened, as whenever she was close to it, Tianlong Yun would pull all the aura and pressure around her, and give her a moment of relaxation, and then go through it once again.
This was a great opportunity for her to actually grow stronger and get used to the Fierceness Law aura around her.
Furthermore, the blood essence pills formed from the dead bodies of these guys would be an extremely big help towards her servants' cultivation.
Despite having grown quite strong, they still had a lot of potential on their way and could afford to absorb and refine these pills.
In the meantime, the Grand Elder who had witnessed all this, couldn't help but get a bit surprised and startled with everything that happened.
He had never thought that Princess Jena would actually be so strong. In fact, now that he thought about it, he found out that he couldn't sense her level of strength properly.
At first, he had just ignored it, thinking that she was using some sort of artifact to disguise it or hide it from other people's eyes.
But now that he had seen the extent of her strength, he couldn't help but think that probably she was doing that herself.
That thought sounded too unbelievable though, so he quickly threw it out of his head, but the doubts were still present in his heart.
Then, seeing Princess Jena actually arrive in front of those bodies, and extract their blood essence like that, made him even more surprised.
Even he wasn't able to pull something like that off, but this little girl seemed to be able to pull it off effortlessly.
He didn't know what to think anymore, besides the fact that she might have some sort of encounter with some Ancestor who had shared his knowledge with her, otherwise it would be impossible.
As he thought like that, the more certain he became, as different thoughts, plans, and ideas started to spring inside his mind.
With those thoughts in his mind, the Grand Elder approached the young beauty, as he said,
"Young one you have exceeded my expectations in you! I have to admit that you are quite the special one and that with you our Werewolves Clan will reach heights never thought before!"
"And?"
Princess Jena's voice wasn't exactly cold, but it was warm either. She didn't have any impression of this Grand Elder, so she didn't know what to expect from him.
In her eyes, none of the moves this guy had taken until that point were in order to benefit her, so she didn't feel the need or obligation to be polite with him.
The Grand Elder seemed to get a bit displeased by her bland tone, but he didn't show it on his face, as he continued,
"I would like to support you in taking over the Clan and becoming the first Matriarch in history! I truly think that you are the best choice for our Werewolves Clan!"
Hearing that proclamation Princess Jena didn't seem to get much excited and happy, as she just looked at the old man with an investigative eye, and then said,
"And what do you want?"
"Huh!??"
"Come on, old thing don't pretend to be some kind of righteous and just Elder who thinks only for the future of the Clan!
There exists no one like that in this world, especially someone who has become the Grand Elder of the Werewolves Clan.
Even if it existed, I don't think it is you!
Hence my question, what do you want to actually support me?"
Princess Jena didn't seem afraid of the Grand Elder, neither was she servile towards his status and even less extremely happy that she was getting his help.
There was no free lunch in this world, and there was no being without greed and selfishness. Even if there was, it most certainly wouldn't be easy to find.
For that reason, she acted as she did, while the Grand Elder seemed to be quite surprised, startled, and shocked by her words, as he thought deeply for a moment and then
