Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

Jasmine on reaching her room hurriedly shower. When it came to the time to choose an outfit, she had had a hard time deciding on what to wear. She later settled for a short white skirt and a red shirt that goes perfectly with the skirt. Applying make-up wasn't a difficult task for her. Within thirty minutes Jasmine was all set to go.

It was after she was done that she saw the message Catherine sent for her some minutes ago. Seeing her text message that says they had already left, Jasmine hurried downstairs. When she got to her car, her driver was already waiting for her.

"Don't worry, I will drive today," Jasmine said as she went to the driver's seat and immediately she set out. Getting almost close to the restaurant Jasmine felt somehow nervous for some unknown reason.

If someone was to ask her why she was feeling this way she was certain she would not be able to give any explanations for it.

On reaching where cars were parked on the restaurant premises Jasmine parked her car. When she came out of the car, she could see Jeff and Steve's cars parked some distance away. Her heart felt a sense of warmth when she saw Jackson's car.

"He really came," Jasmine smiled as she stare at the restaurant entrance. Without wasting any more time she found her way into the restaurant. Tables in the restaurant weren't in hidden places so on entering the restaurant she sighted her friends from far away.

The first person who saw her enter the restaurant was Jackson but he acted as though he was not aware of this. He pretended to be so interested in his food that he hasn't eaten up to four bites.

"Hi, I can see all the naughty fellows are here," Jasmine said on reaching their table. Everyone felt so relieved on hearing that her soothing voice. The atmosphere was beginning to get tense when she did not arrive on time. They specifically promised Jackson that Jasmine will be there. They were certain that Jackson will murder them there if peradventure Jasmine failed to come.

"And the naughtiest of us all has finally arrived, this is amazing," Evelyn said playfully as she examined Jasmine. She could not resist smiling on seeing what she was putting on despite that the weather was getting very cold recently.

Since there was only one available space remaining Jasmine did not need anyone to tell her that they specifically save that spot beside Jackson for her.

"Jasmine so how have you been lately? You have become even more popular than so many celebrities, how are you coping with that," Steve finally spoke up.

"Jasmine, did you and JK really do it as the video portrayed?" Jeff blurted out before Jasmine could reply.

The moment he said this word Jackson stabbed the whole fish which was a part of the side dishes. This action of his startled everyone on the table. Even other customers turned to stare at their table to check what was going on.

"If you want to eat just eat silently or I don't know whether it is your neck the fork will be aiming to next," Jackson said coldly. His words and deadly gaze sent shivers down Jeff's spine. Nobody uttered a word after this his warning. They just ate in silence.

I am afraid I might have a heart attack if this continues. I think it's better to leave these two to sort out their issue first. We will have a proper meal after that because right now, it is not a meal we are eating.

Jeff thought as he stole a secret glance at Jackson. His cold expression looks so scary. It was as if the person sitting in front of him was not his best friend that he has known for over a decade. Jeff quickly thought of what lies to tell to get himself and his woman out of there.

"Guys, I am sorry. I totally forgot that Catherine and I set an appointment with mum and dad. We will leave now," Jeff said standing up. Catherine who knew that they made no such appointments wanted to talk but she kept quiet when she saw his signal that says she should play along.

"Guys, have fun without us," Catherine said as she stood up. She and Jeff left before anyone could get to ask them questions.

Jeff would forget his appointments with his parent on his first introduction of Catherine to them? That is impossible. Jeff might play with every other thing except his relationship with Catherine. He is damn serious about her so I am sure this was their only excuse to leave Jasmine and Jack alone.

Evelyn thought as she stare at the seat Jeff was previously sitting down on. She also began to think of a reasonable excuse to take Steve away from there.

Just then her cellphone rang and checking the caller ID, she saw that it was the maid who was supposed to come to clean her apartment that night. On seeing the caller ID an idea pops into her head. Evelyn quickly answered the call and waited for the person to talk.

"What! Dad collapsed on the dining?" Evelyn said standing up from her seat like she was in shock. Her acting was flawless even Jasmine got fooled by her.

"Ok, don't worry I will be at the hospital in a few minutes," Evelyn said as she grabbed her handbag.

"Sorry guys but an emergency just came up at home. I need to leave now," Evelyn said as she made to leave but Steve who wasn't aware that she was acting held her hand.

"I will come with you," Steve said as he stood up from his seat. The two of them hurriedly left only remaining Jasmine and Jackson on the table.

About five minutes later Jackson stood up from his seat to the surprise of Jasmine.

"I will leave also, I have some important work that needs my attention back at home," Jackson said as he turned to leave.

Please God, let her call me back or utter a word.

Jackson thought on his second step away from her.

"I am sorry," Jasmine said loudly before he could walk further away.
