Almighty Summoner System

Joana nodded her head upon hearing 'Leon's' reply. However, she got this feeling that he might have misunderstood something. Nevertheless, she no longer probed about it as she also thought that her actions earlier were already quite brazen. She was afraid that if she probed further, it might raise the ire of 'Leon'.

"Please wait for me a moment Mr. Leon, I'll just take the Gold Coins so that we can finish this transaction already." She said as she bowed her head before turning her back to go to her room to fetch the Gold Coins. 

Ban just nodded his head as he took Eva from his shoulders to carry her in front of his chest. He only stared at her without saying anything. Eva also seems to still be sulky about something as she didn't even try to stare back at Ban with her four arms still crossed against each other in front of her tiny chest. 

Some time later, Ban could hear Joana's footsteps so he returned Eva to her previous spot- his shoulder. 

Joana arrives with a large brown pouch that contains the 985 Gold Coins that she will be using to pay the Beasts parts that Ban brought. 

"Here's the payment, Mr. Leon! Please check it to make sure that it is the right amount." Joana said while handing the pouch of Gold Coins towards Ban. 

"No need, I trust you in this!" Ban said as he received the pouch of Gold Coins that is at least four kilograms in weight. Joana made it appear light but Ban's hands actually dropped down a little as he did not expect that it would weigh that much. 

However, he still acted as if nothing had happened and even acted as if he was unperturbed by this kind of transaction. However, deep inside him, he was actually shaking hard as he felt nervous that he now had this huge amount of Gold Coins in his hand. 

Ban instantly waved his hand in mid-air as he directly stored the pouch of Gold Coins inside his Dimensional Storage Earring. He was afraid that Joana might take it back if he did not store it inside the Dimensional Storage Earring instantly. He felt that the Dimensional Storage was the safest place for the Gold Coins to be stored as no one could access it, even just seeing its contents, except for him.

Before he forgot, Ban stared at Joana while asking, "Do you know the price of an F-Apprentice Rank Beast Core around here?"

Joana nodded her head and immediately replied, "There are a lot of factors that can affect the price but the lowest Grade F-Apprentice Rank Beast Core's price should be around five thousand Gold Coins or more." 

Joana stated it as if the 5,000 Gold Coins was nothing and as if she dealt with something more expensive than it before. Of course, it was understandable as she was after all, a merchant and Gold Rank Adventurer at the same time. 

Fortunately, Ban had the Ant Mar because if not, Joana would surely see his eyes almost popping out of his sockets the moment she mentioned the lowest price. 

Ban calmed himself a moment later as he thought that it wasn't something he could not afford- in the future. It was only his day two of Adventuring and yet he already earned over one thousand Gold Coins. Not to mention, he even has an F-Apprentice Beast Core in his possession right now so it means that aside from the one thousand Gold Coins, he also has another over five thousand Gold Coins worth of items in his possession. 

He smiled beneath the Ant Mask and one could tell that he was truly happy about getting this huge amount of money. Even Eva who was acting still sulky earlier felt her owner's emotion and she also could not help but feel; happy for him. 

"Do you perhaps need an F-Apprentice Beast Core right now, Mr. Leon? If you want I can-" 

"No need!" Ban hurriedly interrupted Joana as he thought that she might offer her something again while saying it was free but only a little while later, she would then ask something in exchange. 

"But-" 

"No need to worry about it!"

"I see…" Joana could smile wryly upon his rapid refusal. She knew the reason why, but in truth, she just wanted to say that she can refer him to someone who buys and sells Beast Cores if he wants. She could only shake her head as she decided that she should just inform him the next time they met. 

Ban nodded his head and thought that he should leave now while it's still early and Joana had still not offered him other 'free' things. 

"Mr. Leon, you can take the Mad-Lust Rabbit kidney for now and I'll search for the Sucking Flower myself, so that we can immediately proceed if somehow you decide to accept my offer." Joana said softly as she hinted at her offer again. 

"Well… Alright!" 

Eva's mood had just started to get better but after hearing the recent conversation, she could not help but feel sulky again as she tightly slapped Ban's neck with a light force only enough to make him feel a little sting. 

Ban irked a little after that little slap but he chose to ignore it for now as he went to the table to store the Mad-Lust Rabbit kidney inside his Dimensional Storage. 

Grrr! Grrr! Grrr! 

Eva stared and growled at Joana as she knew what she's planning to do with her owner, Ban. 

As the future Queen of the Demon Ants, she automatically gained the information about a Queen's duty. That is to lay eggs and multiply the colony population as many as possible before passing that duty to the next Queen.

She knew that Joana's actions were the same as those of the male Demon Ant's that wanted to mate with the Demon Ant Queen. However, because she was already ban's summon, she no longer needs to do those duties as her priority right now is to help her owner to become stronger. 

And she considered mating as one of the things that will hinder their journey to become stronger.
