UNLIMITED SPEED

Chapter 531 531. CALM BEFORE THE STORM

The trio spoke a bit more, with mostly both grand elders mainly speaking. After which they left. Noah was allowed to return to the city and dwell within the chambers of his master. Elder Sarah.

Apparently, she was on her way there, and it was of course because of him. He expected a sort of spar to occur if they actually met again.

Noah had surpassed the human limits. He had reached heights the entirety of Cregar did not know about, and of course power.

That line of thought reminded Noah of the issue with the immortals. There would be a few trials before the immortals themselves called upon him. He could only wonder what they desired.

Still, even in the face of that danger, Noah remained unworried. He couldn't, to begin with. Still, even if he could, he would find himself okay.

He had the power to back his actions up. And abilities that made him essentially unstoppable. He would carry out his mission as the last speedling, at whatever cost.

Noah walked the courts of elder Sarah's mansion. She had expanded it unlike what he remembered. A big garden of magical plants existed in front of the mansion itself. And although it had been a while since she last attended to it, her garden looked great.

The mana density that existed within the walls of the mansion was significant, Noah suspected that his master had undergone a breakthrough even within those years.

Her martial arts would have gotten far stronger and her sparks themselves would reach terrible heights of might and destructiveness.

'Will she still teach me her martial arts,' Noah wondered approaching the front door of the mansion.

The large black door parted ways for his entry before he even arrived at it. And when he did cross the door; a changed layout of the buildings insides unfolded in his eyes. But more than that was the 2m tall figure of a dummy that approached him.

It had on a refined attire that resembled that of a butler. The features of the dummy were blank but it had a pair of glowing blue eyes.

"You must be master Aiden. I have been informed of your arrival," a masculine mechanical voice seeped out of the mouthless features of the dummy.

The system pouted inwardly at that event.

"My voice can become similar to that if you desire." She chipped in.

During his journey to the guild, Noah had spent a huge portion of his time simply conversing with the system.

He had even stopped calling her 'it' and referred to her according to her gender. That was her base form after all.

He could engage her in light conversations or ones concerning his currently accessible memories. Thankfully she could access his mind and find said memories, but couldn't help him unlock deeper ones since they required far more sturdiness of his soul realm.

Trying could cause significant damage. But he also had literally millions of years of memories locked away. Or rather inaccessible due to his low level.

"I'd rather you remained like this," Noah replied to the system and felt.like she nodded.

"How may I help you, Sir Aiden?' The artificial butler asked Noah after he spent a few seconds silent.

"Give me a tour of the mansion," Noah revealed and it immediately nodded.

"Follow me," The tier 4 dummy announced and the tour immediately began.

Noah found out just how much elder Sarah had improved that place. Even to the extent that the mansion could fly if required.

There were certain rooms he wasn't allowed into, and he didn't push. He saw no reason for such after all.

The tour had taken an hour to complete since the dummy whose name happened to be York; explained a whole lot of things to him.

"Is there wine available?" Noah asked, seated on a yellow couch in a certain room within that structure.

"Yes," York responded waving his hands to allow three bottles of wine float out and land on the glass table before Noah.

A black cup also appeared and Noah didn't hesitate to pour himself a drink. The blue liquid within that bottle filled the cup and he quickly chugged it down.

It tasted sweet and genuinely high-quality. But with the knowledge that elder Sarah always kept the best wines with her, he could only wonder just how good the others are.

Noah relaxed with York nearby. It felt like the days of peace were back.

He essentially had all he needed to succeed in that world. There literally wasn't need for outside help.

He felt complete and at peace with his existence.

Even amid the chaos of war and the threat of powerful individuals, Noah felt like he had regained the days of relaxation he should have enjoyed which were ruined by his abrupt quest to acquire far more power.

He had that power now and the potential to get even more of it.

"I will dominate the ranks of the humans. I will reveal the power of the lost race and I will rise to ranks unimaginable in the vast universe," he declared to himself.

All he needed was time and certain criteria's to be met.

"I have nothing to do than to wait now. Time Is on my hands. There's no real need to rush," he muttered to himself again.

Even if he already had thoughts on what steps to take before the gran ld elder called upon his attention.

He still required a proper introduction to Erolia as her master and her as his pet. He had a few skills he wanted to test, and one highly important one.

Nevertheless, since he had spoken to himself, he could do nothing but deiced to relax a bit.

He felt certain that after that point he would barely have the time to do such. And although it didn't bother him, he did so in remembrance of the times when all he wanted was for peace to reign in his life.

This was the calm before the storm.

Noah closed his eyes after that point, and let himself fall asleep. He ended up sleeping for a whole day.
