Chapter 236: Expelled By An Egg

Chapter 236: Expelled By An Egg

Expelled By An Egg . . .

At times, Cha-Eun Xiao couldn't help but think, *The girl's entire body, there's nothing I haven't seen yet...*

His daily routine revolved around the care of the enigmatic girl dressed in black. He often found himself sighing inwardly, *I don't know which one of us is the maid here. Why do I have to tend to you every day? Why haven't you awakened yet?*

It was the third night, and Cha-Eun Xiao sat by the girl's bedside, meticulously examining her Jing and Mai. Suddenly, the girl's eyelids twitched ever so slightly. Her eyelids fluttered again, as if she were attempting to open her eyes but struggled to do so. Her eyeballs moved gently beneath her closed eyelids.

"Are you awake?" Cha-Eun Xiao leaned in eagerly and inquired with a gentle tone.

The girl's eyelids quivered, and after a prolonged moment, she managed to open her eyes.

When her eyes met Cha-Eun Xiao's gaze, he was momentarily dazzled by their extraordinary beauty.

What kind of eyes did she possess, exactly?

They were profound, akin to the depths of the ocean, exuding a crystalline charm and vibrant spirit. It seemed that within her eyes lay an entire universe—a place where one could easily become lost.

"Are you awake?" Cha-Eun Xiao repeated his query.

The girl's eyes gradually opened, and she blinked in bewilderment. Initially, astonishment filled her gaze as she looked at Cha-Eun Xiao. Slowly, a sense of indescribable fear crept into her eyes.

Subsequently, confusion supplanted the fear, followed by an overwhelming sense of fear once more. The girl found herself surrounded by an unfamiliar environment, as if her memory had been wiped clean. She couldn't recollect anything about herself.

*How did I get here?*

*Who am I?*

*What is my name? Where do I come from?*

She had forgotten everything.

Desperately, she attempted to speak, but to her dismay, no words escaped her lips. She couldn't even muster the strength to move a single finger. Every effort to do so resulted in excruciating pain.

The only actions available to her were the ability to blink her eyes and shift her gaze.

Her body felt alien, as if it no longer belonged to her. She had lost all sensation.

*Who am I? How did I get here? Why am I in this condition?*

A multitude of questions raced through her mind, each one more puzzling than the last.

As her eyes grew increasingly fearful, she longed to speak, to voice her confusion and fear. Yet, she was rendered mute, unable to utter a sound. With a perplexed and terrified expression, she gazed at Cha-Eun Xiao, her eyes silently pleading for answers. Then, as if drained of her remaining strength, she slipped back into unconsciousness.

Cha-Eun Xiao called out to her several times, only to realize that she had once again fallen into a coma. A sense of helplessness washed over him. He understood that she remained too weak, lacking the energy to sustain consciousness. Reluctantly, he resumed his efforts to assist her, a task that left him utterly drained.

The subsequent days passed in relative tranquility.

Cha-Eun Xiao had started crafting Losing Weight Dan. The Boundless Space did not possess the ability to create such a pill, so he took it upon himself. Appearance was inconsequential for this particular elixir; as long as it achieved its intended purpose on Wan Zheng-Hao's body, it sufficed.

There were other developments as well. The water vapor within the Water Space experienced rapid growth, revitalizing the entire dimension. Although only a few days had elapsed since Cha-Eun Xiao planted the seed of the Regeneration Ink Lotus within the Wood Space, the plants had already begun to flourish.

The frigid aura emitted by the Cosmic Hades showed signs of diminishing rather than increasing. It appeared that the other Spaces were somehow reining it in.

The Gold Space had amassed a substantial quantity of Metal Essences. Wan Zheng-Hao had expended a considerable sum to procure these materials.

*Having such a wealthy benefactor feels rather satisfying,* Cha-Eun Xiao mused, his emotions stirred.

In a remarkably short span of time, Wan Zheng-Hao, the affluent individual, had disbursed an exorbitant sum exceeding five billion to amass a diverse array of resources: rare metals, precious gemstones, and more.

There was a Chinese adage that resonated with this situation: *'Money can make devils push the millstone for you.'* It was a sentiment so profoundly accurate that it might as well have been considered an immutable truth. Prior to encountering Wan Zheng-Hao, Cha-Eun Xiao would have to embark on arduous quests to locate these valuable resources himself. Now, with Wan Zheng-Hao's seemingly bottomless coffers, countless individuals clamored to offer their wares.

Wan Zheng-Hao spent his days indoors, leisurely awaiting the arrival of these valuable materials.

Cha-Eun Xiao couldn't help but marvel at the unparalleled efficacy of wealth. In the mortal realm, money held an irresistible allure.

Wan Zheng-Hao had once uttered a preposterous statement: *'I don't want to, but if I do, I can expend 10 billion gold to host a global beauty pageant, with the caveat that only virgins may participate! Ling-Bao Hall would be graced by millions of exquisite virgin contestants!'* Cha-Eun Xiao couldn't conceal his disdain, while this proposal incited a sinister glint in Liu Chang-Jun's eyes. He bore an unflinching gaze upon Wan Zheng-Hao, his eyes resembling those of a lifeless fish. This continued until Wan Zheng-Hao, the wealthy magnate, became drenched in cold sweat and hastily departed. He dared not cross paths with Liu Chang-Jun for several subsequent days, haunted by the memory of that penetrating stare.

Although Wan Zheng-Hao's words had exaggerated the influence of wealth, Cha-Eun Xiao had gained a firsthand understanding of its potency. In the mundane world, money reigned supreme.

Within the Boundless Space, the egg remained unwaveringly focused on absorbing spiritual qi, water vapor, and wood essence qi. Yet, whenever Cha-Eun Xiao entered the Space, the egg inexplicably ceased its activities.

At times, Cha-Eun Xiao couldn't help but feel that the egg was harboring a grudge against him. Perhaps it genuinely was.

*Very well, you don't wish to acknowledge my presence. I, too, have no interest in you... You're merely an egg, after all. What delusions do you harbor?*

Cha-Eun Xiao remained nonchalant, steadfastly tending to his responsibilities. Occasionally, while cultivating his soul, he would position himself adjacent to the egg, enabling him to siphon energy from it. He soon discovered that this proximity substantially enhanced the efficiency of his cultivation.

From that point onward, each time he entered the Space, he would sit alongside the egg during his cultivation sessions. It became a shared endeavor, with one man and one egg tapping into the available resources.

However, the egg appeared to harbor resentment. In truth, it experienced a deep sense of anguish.

One fateful day, during a meditation session, Cha-Eun Xiao was unceremoniously expelled from the Space. He was forcibly ejected with surprising force.
