Chapter 1288: Reinforcements, Returning to the Spirit Luxuriant World

Shang Xia wasn’t surprised that she managed to escape. After all, in a battle between experts of the same level, especially since they were high-level True Immortals, defeating the other party wasn’t going to be easy. It might be too late for him to return in case anything happened, but there was still a sense of guilt in his heart. After all... The Tongyou Institution’s secret operation in the Ruined World was what put the Star Beast Nest in danger.

The Star Ships would take several more days to arrive, but for Shang Xia, it took him several hours to arrive back in the Spirit Luxuriant World.

The moment he felt the intense shockwaves caused by the battle between Shang Xia and Gao Qin, he called for reinforcements.

The second tier True Immortal of the Yuanchen Sect, Huang Jinghan, was the first to arrive. Yin Jingxu came next. Yifan and Jiu Jing of the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect came right after and 5 True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World gathered in Star Beast Nest No.1.

Even though Huan Jinghan was the only expert in the second tier of the Martial Void Realm, they were confident of protecting the Star Beast Nest because of the advantage they had after managing it for so long.

Also... They were pretty aware that despite their confidence of holding the Star Beat Nest, they weren’t capable of doing much more. They knew their limits, and no one suggested heading over to learn of the source of the powerful shockwaves.

The experts of the Essence Ming World and Spirit Faith World with its affiliated worlds didn’t give them a chance to make the mistake of venturing out either. With Lan Zhengfeng, a third tier True Immortal in the lead, 5 True Immortals on their side descended on the Star Beast Nest and launched an attack.

Huang Jinghan and the others were prepared and stopped them outside the Star Beast Nest.

He separated a clone and used an Illusion Talisman to make it seem as though there was another high-level True Immortal in Star Beast Nest No.2 before rushing back.

Even so... By the time he arrived, Gao Qin’s appearance caused Star Beast Nest No.1 to be on the brink of being overrun.
