Chapter 205 - There Is Still Hope
At six o'clock in the morning, Bryana and her entourage arrived at the house. She walked at a rather slow pace with mixed feelings full of hope for Dean's presence in her majestic home.
"Mom... Calvin!" From the terrace, Sofia, who was already wearing her school uniform, ran to greet Bryana and the others.
A smile grew on Bryana's lips when she saw Sofia was still at her house, it made her think that Dean was also at home. maybe still having breakfast, getting ready for work, or still sleeping, that's what she thought.
"Sofia," Bryana greeted with a warm smile, while Calvin was frowning.
"You're bad, Sofia. Why didn't you come home with me?" Calvin protested with his still cute voice.
"I also don't know if dad brought me home that night. I fell asleep and just woke up on the plane," Sofia explained angrily.
"We'd better go in. Mommy's tired," said Monica, who had been watching Sofia for a long time, while the others had already entered the house.
They immediately walked into the house and entered their respective rooms, even Bryana seemed in a hurry to enter the room even though her steps were heavy because her belly was big.
Arriving in the room, Bryana looked at the empty bed, then put her branded bag to the edge of the bed and glanced at the closed door to the balcony, then glanced at the door to the walk-in closet "Could he be taking a shower?"
Bryana walked to the walk-in closet and her eyes fell on the open bathroom door, then approached her in the hope of finding her husband in the bath.
"Honey..." Bryana called.
There was no response, what was found instead was a messy bathroom atmosphere with broken glass on the floor. Bryana's breath began to catch, her body shaking, she turned back to the walk-in closet and opened Dean's wardrobe.
Bryana saw that only a few luxury clothes and Bodyguard clothes remained in the cupboard, while the bag and other casual clothes were missing. Instantly she felt weak and her legs seemed unable to support her body anymore. The pregnant woman sat on the floor leaning against the closet door hugging her husband's Bodyguard uniform.
"Why did you leave? Did I mean nothing to you... Haven't you understood everything from mom yet?" Bryana wondered in her sobs. She got up and wiped her tears roughly, then put Dean's clothes back into the cupboard.
Bryana left the room and coincidentally at that time Lily was about to enter her room until they met in the doorway.
"Mom, is Dean gone? Haven't you explained everything I said yesterday?" asked Bryana with teary eyes.
"Bryana... I explained everything but Dean is so stubborn. He... he wanted to go take Sofia with me, but I refused because he shouldn't have gone," Lily explained with pitying eyes on Bryana.
"Is he so angry, will he hate me?" Bryan asked.
"No, dear..he even loved you more than Clarissa, but he was disappointed that your father was involved in Clarissa's death. To him, intentionally or not, your father is still at fault. He was also disappointed that your father was dishonest. he is afraid that he will hate you or will take his anger out on you if he meets you," Lily explained then hugged Bryana who was sobbing.
"Why does he have the heart, does he not care about my feelings? I didn't even know there would be a fact like this, Mom." Bryana is still sobbing in eight Lily.
"Believe me, he will come back. He just needs calm and time to accept this reality," Lily exclaimed then released her hug. She wiped Bryan's tears and looked at her intensely. "You know, Dean loves Sofia, loves you... I'm sure he won't be able to stay away from you for long. Maybe he'll be back in the afternoon or tonight."
"What if he doesn't come back, Mom?" Bryan was still scared.
"Believe me he will come back because his loved ones are here. I will always accompany you, will stay here even if he is not here. I Make sure he will return to set his feet in this house, believe me," said Lily with a look full of confidence and pity for Bryana. She did not expect that her daughter-in-law loved her son so much that she was very afraid to be left behind.
Briana nodded slowly trying to remain convinced.
"Now you better rest. I will make milk and breakfast for you," said Lily with a warm smile.
"I asked Susan to clean the bathroom too," Bryana asked, bending her face, wiping her tears with the palm of her hand.
"Yeah, now you just rest. Take care of your health, it's more important because I don't want your future grandchild in your belly to be in trouble," said Lily.
Bryan's nodded and went back into the room.
She walked unsteadily towards the bed. She sat on the edge and looked at the many credit cards on the table.
"He left without any money? Then how will he eat?" Bryana muttered as she stared at the credit card. She leaned back against the pile of pillows and stared blankly until Susan came with another maid to clean the bathroom.
___
In silence, Bryana daydreamed of remembering every moment with Dean in that room. on every side, she seemed to see the image of her husband especially near the dressing table where she often wore a tie for her husband, then made up while being hugged from behind, the image seemed to flash in her mind endlessly.
Bryana got out of bed and walked to the dressing table. Her eyes fell on the red writing on the glass, like it was written with lipstick.
"Did he write this?" Bryan muttered as she read the writing which was a sentence,
__ no need to try to find me, I want to be alone for my peace of mind and I still love you, love you so much Take care of yourself, my dear___
Bryana smiled but felt more and more missing Dean. The message relieved her, feeling still hopeful that her husband would return. again she cried as she fingered the lipstick-stained glass.
"You should come back soon. I'm always waiting for you. You must accompany me when I give birth to our child later, you must return to be the leader of this family, be my protector, be my life partner, be my husband forever," Bryana murmured in her sobs.
___
in another place, precisely in a rented house in the form of a minimalist Indonesian-style house with dominating white walls and equipped with furniture that is not as luxurious as in his house, Dean is being examined by a doctor who was called by two young men who helped him because last night it was a man. it is also not aware.
"Is he that bad, Doc? Should he be taken to the hospital?" asked the blond-haired man with a thin body and an Asian face. It seemed that the blonde hair was because of the dye, not because he was a Caucasian.
"No, maybe he'll wake up in a minute. I will give you a prescription for medicine to heal the internal wound," replied the doctor, who was a middle-aged man.
The young man nodded in understanding and turned to look at Dean who was still carried weakly on a medium-sized bed with pink bedlinen patterned with blossoms.
"Too bad, looks like we'll have to take care of him for a few days," muttered the blond-haired youth.
"Niko, how are we going to take care of him? I'm busy training because the match will be in one week and you must always be by my side, being my assistant." Mike looked at the blonde-haired man named Niko with annoyance.
"While you're practicing, let's just leave him at home," Niko called out a solution, while the doctor was prescribing Dean.
Mike let out a shaky breath, glaring lazily at Dean. "We'll just take him to his house when he wakes up. From his looks, I think he's a rich person. We can get something in return for sure."
Niko immediately pinched Mike's waist. "Help people, don't expect anything in return. Or our charity will turn into sin!"
Mike sneered, glancing at Niko, who was lecturing instead.
