Chapter 36.3: Don’t Ever Get It Wrong (3)
Thanks to his overly excited state, Ji Fanyin was able to easily coax Bai Zhou to sleep before heading to another bedroom.
She unpacked the items in her suitcase neatly around the room before changing into a set of pajamas and diving into her bed.
The first thing she did afterward was to switch on her phone, tap into her Weibo, and remove Bai Zhou from her list of following.
She looked at the post Bai Zhou had sent on her behalf and pondered for a moment, but she eventually decided against deleting it.
So many people have already seen it, so it wont make a difference for me to delete it now. Besides, I wont have much time to watch a movie and post a review within this week anyway.
She quickly dealt with the various messages she had received before she set her alarm and began resting to adjust to the jetlag.
Afternoon, Ji Fanyin woke up.
She looked out of her bedroom door and saw that Bai Zhou wasnt awake yet. So, she quickly washed up before heading to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
Halfway through her preparations, she suddenly heard Bai Zhous cracked voice behind her, Big sis.
It was a voice that sounded as if he had partied hard at a music festival the night before. The astonished Ji Fanyin quickly turned around, only to see a pale-faced Bai Zhou leaning against the doorway with a pained frown on his forehead. His hand reached beneath his pajamas to clutch his stomach, revealing a hint of his slender waist.
He looked at Ji Fanyin like a pitiful little puppy and whimpered, Big sis, I feel awful
Ji Fanyin quickly switched off the stove and rushed over to check on Bai Zhous condition with a spatula still in her hand.
He was still fine a moment ago. It looks like hes suffering from gastric pain.
Ji Fanyin calmly poured him half a glass of warm water and instructed, Finish this before I come back.
Gastric pain? This is nothing much for an actor.
Orh. The 1.85 meters tall Bai Zhou continued leaning pitifully against the doorway as he murmured, Big sis, where are you going?
Im grabbing some medicine for you.
Ji Fanyin thought that it was a wise decision on her part to prepare a simple first aid kit. She had a bunch of over-the-counter medications in there, including those that dealt with gastric.
Bai Zhou: Orh
Ji Fanyin walked toward her room while Bai Zhou waddled behind her like a chickling who had just emerged from his egg. He took a small sip of water every two steps, finishing it just as he reached the entrance of her room.
Ji Fanyin opened her first aid kit and took out a sachet of digestive medicine.
Despite looking like he was going to die from the gastric pain, Bai Zhou stood there with an upright stature, looking at her with an empty glass in hand. His eyes reflected the obstinacy of youth.
This isnt the first time? asked Ji Fanyin.
Mm.
Ji Fanyin sighed softly. You must have frequently skipped meals.
Mm.
Why didnt you tell me about this? Ji Fanyin walked over to Bai Zhou and shook the sachet of digestive medicine in front of him. Lets try this one. If it still doesnt work, Ill have to take you to the hospital.
Dont wanna, grumbled Bai Zhou with a pout.
A responsible adult will take his medicine when hes supposed to. Ji Fanyin used the words he had spoken earlier in the morning to tease him.
Bai Zhous frown deepened. Alright, Ill drink it.
Ji Fanyin closed the door to her room and headed downstairs with the digestive medicine in hand. She could hear Bai Zhous slow but clingy footsteps behind her. She halted for a brief moment, turned around, and asked him half-jokingly, Look at how ill you are. Do you still remember who I am? Am I Ji Xinxin or Ji Fanyin?
Bai Zhous eyes looked a little dazed when he first met her eyes, but a hint of rage swiftly surfaced. Im ill, not dumb.
Ji Fanyin chuckled softly and said, Thats right, I am Ji Xinxin. Dont ever get it wrong.
