Chapter 265 Alisceon Didn't Have Any Elemental Affinity
Chapter 265 Alisceon Didn't Have Any Elemental Affinity
“Now that we already determined your mana capacity and mana control, I will now test your elemental affinity.”
After announcing that to Alisceon, Allen used his <Supreme Creator> talent to create the mana crystal pillar at the Mage’s Association that was used to test his elemental affinities.
With Allen’s <Supreme Analysis> talent, it wasn’t difficult to analyze the composition and properties of the mana crystal pillar and because of that, he could create the mana crystal pillar with ease using his <Supreme Creator> talent.
Allen inserted the mana crystal pillar on the earthen ground as if he was inserted a nail into butter.
When Alisceon saw Allen easily lifting the mana crystal pillar and inserting it on the ground, she couldn’t help but sigh. Not only was her teacher a monster when it came to magic, but his physical prowess was also nothing to scoff at.
Alisceon firmly believed that at that point, there were indeed those who defied logic and break the common sense of the world and her teacher was such an existence.
She even noticed that Allen didn’t use any strength enhancement magic spells or anything of that sort when he lifted the mana crystal pillar which only meant that Allen’s physical prowess was genuine.
Allen didn’t even sweat or was exhausted when he performed such a feat and he only shrugged it off as if it was nothing to him. Because of that, Alisceon would even believe Allen if he boasted that he could rival an 8th Star Knight.
After inserting the mana crystal pillar into the ground, Allen gestured for Alisceon to place her hand on it and she did what Allen told her to do. After all, they needed to determine Alisceon’s elemental affinity before Allen could even start teaching her about magic.
Placing her hand on the mana crystal pillar, the mana inside the mana crystal pillar took a strand of Alisceon’s mana before assimilating it inside the mana crystal pillar to determine Alisceon’s elemental affinity that was contained in her mana.
It only took a few seconds for the mana crystal pillar to determine Alisceon’s mana and to Allen and Alisceon’s surprise, Alisceon didn’t have any elemental affinity. Or to be exact, she really didn’t have any elemental affinity.
Because of that, Alisceon couldn’t even use any element-related magic spells. The reason why those mages who only have 1 elemental affinity yet could use the other elemental affinity in their magic spell was that they already have 1 elemental affinity that could let them connect with other elemental affinities.
Because of that, those who didn’t have at least 1 elemental affinity wouldn’t be able to use any elemental-related magic spells much to Alisceon’s dismay.
“Alisceon, you don’t have any elemental affinity.”
When Alisceon heard that announcement from Allen, she felt her world crumble as despair started to sink into her mind. Her last hope of taking control of her life was to become a powerful mage yet she couldn’t even use any elemental-related magic spells.
Because of that, she didn’t want Allen to discard her now that she didn’t have any worth. As for Allen, he noticed the despair etched on Alisceon’s face which only made him sigh.
“Teacher, please don’t abandon me!”
Alisceon pleaded to her teacher as she already knew of her future if she wasn’t accepted as Allen’s student.
If the Mage’s Association found out that an 8th Circle Mage even discarded the first princess as his student, it would only mean that she didn’t have any talents for magic which would result in the mages of the Mage’s Association not accepting her as their student.
Allen only flicked Alisceon’s forehead as he chuckled in response.
“Silly girl, I won’t abandon you.”
“I already accepted you as my student way before I found out about your talent in magic. So even if you don’t have any talent in magic, I will still accept you as my student.”
Hearing the warmhearted reply from Allen, Alisceon couldn’t hold her tears anymore as beads of glistening tears trickled down her face. She didn’t know why Allen was so kind to her yet none of her family even regarded her as one of their own.
Alisceon knew that she wasn’t anyone special and if it wasn’t for her identity as the first princess, she wasn’t that different from a commoner. And she was aware that Allen didn’t even put her identity as the first princess in his eyes so she thought that if she didn’t have any talent in magic, she would be abandoned by Allen.
After all, what’s the point of teaching someone who didn’t have talent in magic about magic?
For those high and mighty mages who were too arrogant and proud, they wouldn’t waste their time in doing that. Fortunately for Alisceon, Allen wasn’t like those mages.
“Teacher, why? Why are you so nice to me?”
Alisceon couldn’t help but ask Allen about that while there were tears that dropped from her eyes, albeit a lot lesser than before.
“Do I need to have a reason for my kindness?”
Allen answered rhetorically as he patted Alisceon’s head. Allen felt that he was getting old to the point that for a second there, he had thought of Alisceon as a pitiful adopted daughter of his.
The numerous <Supreme> talents that were combined in Allen’s <Supreme Order> talent made his mind more mature than before.
And with Allen’s <Supreme Father> talent, it was no wonder that he almost treated Alisceon as his foster daughter. He was well aware that Alisceon lacked the warmth and care that she could get from her parents which were similar to his situation.
But unlike Alisceon, Allen was loved by his younger brother so he knew that Alisceon was much more pitiful than him.
He wouldn’t even doubt that when Alisceon became the most powerful existence in her world, she would become a villain in her world.
Alisceon’s backstory was enough for her to become the villain of this world and it might be the reason why she would have died if it wasn’t for his interference.
