Chapter 256 Allen Walker, The Supreme Mage

“Sigh… I am getting old. To think that you have all elemental affinities and there are even elemental affinities that I do not know about.”

William recognized that all of the elemental affinities that were recorded in history were present in the mana crystal pillar, which meant that Allen indeed had all the elemental affinities. And not to mention, there were even unidentified color strands that were, without a doubt, elemental affinities that weren’t recorded yet.

That was to say that Allen was an unprecedented prodigy in the history of mankind when it came to magic!

If he wasn’t already old and had his potential already exhausted, he would have begged Allen to become his magic teacher. Looking at Alisceon, who had been accepted as this magic prodigy’s student, William could only sigh.

“You passed this test again.”

To think that there were too many surprises he had seen in just one day! His old bones couldn’t take it anymore and he might have a heart attack at this rate!

William was aware of Alisceon’s low standing in the royal family and that Alisceon had the lowest chance of ascending the throne. But he knew that Alisceon’s bad luck had finally ended since the gods had given her a chance to have a better life.

With Allen’s support and backing, William knew that it was only a matter of time before Alisceon ascended the throne.

“I assure you that with my status in the Mage’s Association, I will make sure that you will have the highest rank as a mage.”

William assured Allen that he would do anything within his capabilities to make sure that Allen’s rank in the Mage’s Association was the highest. After all, Allen’s display of power was worthy of the highest rank in the Mage’s Association.

“And besides, all of you are watching, right? None of you have any objections to granting him ‘that’ rank, right?”

William turned towards one of the corners of the test room as he looked up at the ceiling. He asked that towards the ceiling, as if someone was observing from there.

“No. Most of us agree to grant him the 8th Circle Mage rank while also giving him a special title, which is the Supreme Mage title.”

A voice came out from the corners of the test room, and judging from the age of the voice, it came from an old man. It seemed that the higher-ups of the Mage’s Association had started observing Allen’s magic test after his display of vast mana, so they witnessed Allen’s magic prowess.

Due to their experience, they all knew that they weren’t Allen’s opponents. None of them were stupid enough to deny what they had seen. Instead of doing that, it was better to show their goodwill towards the magic prodigy so that they wouldn’t offend him.

They were well aware of Allen’s magic power, which was at least Highest Realm Peak Stage or even higher! So they created a special title for him that was well-suited to his magical prowess.

The strongest mage that was currently alive and recorded in the Mage’s Association was from Zeus Kingdom’s royal court mage that was at 8th Circle Mage rank.

Even their kingdom’s royal court mage was only at 7th Circle Mage rank, so when they found out that Allen had the power of an 8th Circle Mage and after knowing that he was their first princess’ magic teacher, they didn’t hesitate in registering him as an 8th Circle Mage and granting him a special title.

Although granting Allen the Supreme Mage title would cause displeasure towards the other Mage’s Associations in other kingdoms, they knew if push came to shove, they could just let Allen prove that he was worthy of the title.

Letting him own the Supreme Mage title and 8th Circle Mage rank meant that the Gaia Kingdom had another powerhouse within their leagues. They dared the other kingdoms to invade them when the Gaia Kingdom finally had their 8th Circle Mage. The other kingdoms would think twice about offending them!

Not only would granting Allen the 8th Circle Mage rank and Supreme Mage title let them show Allen their goodwill, but the Gaia Kingdom would also have its own 8th Circle Mage. Not to mention, doing so would make the kingdoms hostile towards the Gaia Kingdom think twice about offending them.

The decision that the Gaia Kingdom’s Mage’s Association was killing three birds with one stone! What a bunch of scheming old men!

As for the person in question, Allen was already aware of the intentions of the higher-ups of the Mage’s Association. After all, he wouldn’t proclaim himself as the strongest and most intelligent person in his world if he wasn’t aware of that.

When Alisceon heard that the Mage’s Association granted Allen not only the 8th Circle Mage rank, but also a special title, she knew that she made the right choice in asking Allen to be her magic teacher.

And at that time, her hope of having a better life became brighter than before. She no longer has any interest in becoming the Queen of the Gaia Kingdom. Alisceon wanted to become the strongest mage like Allen.

She knew that without having any power, being the queen of Gaia Kingdom would be worthless if she couldn’t even lead her people to victory!

What kind of ruler stay at the back of the army instead of charging straight at the enemy with his people?

With that question in mind, Alisceon could only scoff at her royal siblings, especially the crown prince, since she knew that he would be too cowardly to fight on the front lines.

After her fated meeting with Allen, Alisceon was enlightened as she no longer had any obsessions about ascending the throne, and instead, she dreamed of becoming the strongest in the world. Her goals were wider than before as she became more ambitious, but it wasn’t a negative change since she wouldn’t slack off when Allen trained her in the ways of a mage.

“Follow me. I will process the paperwork and register you as the first 8th Circle Mage in the Gaia Kingdom along with your title as the Supreme Mage.”
