[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: Can you use it?]
[Supreme Order (Admin): Wait…]
[Supreme Order (Admin): /randomdraw 2 @Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse, @Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero, @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon]
[Random draw initiating…]
[Random draw results are out!]
[@Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse and @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon]
Axel had already expected that result and that was why he was against John in deciding the remaining participation slots via random draw. He was well aware of his bad luck so he didn’t dare test whether he still had bad luck or not but it seemed he has.
‘Or, there was also the possibility that I didn’t have bad luck. From what I know, Systema Kami, or the God Of Worldly Systems had already told me that he had removed all of my bad luck after my reincarnation.’
‘And that leads to one possibility. I didn’t have bad luck but John and Deus still surpassed me in terms of luck.’
Axel thought to himself as he knew that it might be because of John and Deus having greater luck than him that he lost in the random draw.
He was aware that countless beings were better and stronger than him but when it came to luck, Axel was insecure about it. He didn’t even know what kind of past life (past life before his life on earth) he had to have such bad luck follow him in his next life (past life on earth).
If it wasn’t for the God Of Worldly Systems purifying him from his bad luck after he reincarnated him in the World Of Deus (Axel’s fantasy world, the world with heroes and demon lords), Axel would have already been suffering from paranoia due to his bad luck.
After all, even a banana peel could kill him in his past life and he was a genius at that time and not an average person. What would happen if he had bad luck and he was in a fantasy world?
Axel didn’t want to know since he was confident that if it was him and he had bad luck, and if he has a Cautiousness stat, it would be at MAX. He knew that bad luck in a fantasy world while being a goblin and not a goblin hero yet meant that he would have died a lot earlier even with the leveling system.
And besides, Axel wasn’t that confident in dealing with the Heretic Gods in the world of Supreme Heretic Immortal’s Tales since a Heretic God was at least at Perfection Realm Initial Stage.
Although the rewards of the Main Task were very lucrative and useful for him, especially the random divinity reward, he wouldn’t be able to enjoy it if he died before he completed the Main Task. Axel would rather underestimate than overestimate himself.
Looking at the bright side, Axel accepted that he lost the random draw. After all, John and Deus with their luck stat greater than his would mean that they had a higher chance of survival in a world filled with Heretic Gods.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: To be honest, I didn’t expect that I would win the random draw.]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: With my identity as a regressor, I have suffered thousands of regressions where in that timeline, I doubted if I was the chosen one or not. So I had already expected the worst that I won’t be chosen for the random draw.]
John had thought previously that even if Axel had died because of a banana peel, his luck shouldn’t be that bad, right? At least, not as bad as his.
After all, Axel died because of a banana peel only once unlike John who suffered countless bad endings in his thousand regressions.
[Supreme Order (Admin): @Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse, you are the last human to survive the zombie apocalypse, right? That’s why you were chosen as the chosen one.]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: You guessed it correctly. What about it?]
[Supreme Order (Admin): That meant you are quite lucky. No, very lucky. After all, there are seven billion humans on Earth, and among those seven billion, you are the last human survivor in the zombie apocalypse.]
[Supreme Order (Admin): As for the sufferings you have experienced in your thousand regressions, it is understandable. After all, you are a regressor. Most and if not all regressor, are fated to suffer so that they will learn from their sufferings in order to fix all of the mistakes that lead to their sufferings.]
Well, Allen was quite knowledgeable regarding that since he had the <Supreme Regressor> talent. But even with the <Supreme Regressor> talent, Allen didn’t have any plans of dying since he knew that his <Supreme Regressor> talent wasn’t as good as John’s regressor ability.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: I guess you are right. Well, all of those regressions of mine are nothing but the past so recalling it wouldn’t change anything.]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: What mattered is that I won the random draw. Might as well not think too much about the past. After all, my purpose as a regressor is to learn from my past experience to change the present so I can live a lot longer in the future.]
John decided to not think too much about it since what mattered was that he won the random draw. Although he was only at Lowest Realm Intermediate Stage, he has several authorities that would make up for his low power level.
So John didn’t think that his participation in the Main Task would burden his chat group members.
[Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon: Like John, I also have not expected I would win the random draw.]
[Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon: I hope that I wouldn’t be a burden to you all. I am not as strong as Axel since I am still at Mid Realm Peak Stage and I have yet to break through the High Realm Initial Stage.]
[Supreme Order (Admin): @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon, you don’t have to worry about it that much. Just avoid fighting enemies that are out of your league and you will be alive until the completion of the Main Task.]
[Supreme Order (Admin): After all, you have greater luck than a certain someone. You should be able to survive.]
Reading Allen’s message, Axel felt that he was targeted in the chat group again.
