Chapter 193 It's All A Dream (1)
[Since the host hasn’t started the process yet, then the host can delay it as much time as the host wants.]
Receiving that reply from the system, Allen sighed in relief as he wouldn’t be forced to upgrade his <[Absolute Order]> authority that early.
He still hasn’t prepared yet so when he received that reply from the system, he closed all of his system screens as he headed to Iris’ room.
He planned to inform Iris about him sleeping for a day so that she wouldn’t worry about him.
Arriving at the door that leads to Iris’ room, he knocked several times and the door opened as it revealed Iris as she played a chess game on her tablet against a chess engine or chess AI.
It seemed that his previous chess match against her had motivated her to improve her skills in not only chess but also other games so that she wouldn’t lose miserably against him.
“Iris, I have something to tell you.”
Hearing Allen’s voice and noticing his presence, Iris looked at him as she asked him.
“What is it, Master Allen?”
When Iris asked him, she had turned off her tablet as she placed all of her attention on him.
“I will be out for a day.”
“Why? Are you going out shopping, Master? Are you perhaps going to stock up on supplies so that when the resistance fights against the Supreme Academy, we will have our own resources?”
Of course, Iris didn’t know what he meant by being out for the day since she didn’t expect that he would sleep for a day.
“No, that’s absurd. I already have the <Supreme Creator> talent, I don’t need to buy supplies when I can create it. I am just going to sleep for a day.”
Iris only responded to him with a blank look as she didn’t know what was more absurd.
Buying supplies despite having the <Supreme Creator> talent or sleeping for a day?
‘Don’t look at me with that look. You are making me feel as if I was mentally challenged.’
“Alright, I’ll explain.”
Allen sighed in defeat after noticing that Iris wouldn’t buy what he had said to her.
“I will be sleeping for a day because it takes a day for my body to optimize with the upgrade of my <[Absolute Order]> authority.”
“Remember how I got the wish reward? I finished a Hidden Main Task and not only did I get a wish reward, but I also got an absolute ability upgrade reward. So I am going to use the absolute ability upgrade reward but the system told me that my willpower is too weak. Because of that, I will have to spend a day in my dreamscape for the system to improve my willpower through suffering, torture, and tragedy.”
Hearing Allen’s explanation, Iris understood what he meant and because of that, she could only sigh in response.
Unknowingly, Iris clenched her fist as she didn’t want Allen to experience all of that suffering and possibly forget about her. If he didn’t use the wish reward on her, he wouldn’t have to suffer because of her.
“Master, you won’t forget about me in your dream, right?”
Allen noticed the pained expression on her as even Iris didn’t notice that a tear trickled down from her face, saddened at the thought of him forgetting about her.
Knowing that actions speak louder than words, Allen walked in front of her and embraced her as they both shared each other’s warmth and his action only brought more tears to her.
He didn’t stop just there he lifted her chin with his right hand as both of their faces were in front of each other, meeting each other’s eyes.
Allen locked his lips with hers as they both kissed each other passionately, sharing each other’s saliva as a string of silver that glistened under the sunlight left both of their mouths, while still connected at their lips.
While Iris was still in a trance, catching her breath, Allen wiped the tears that were still present in her eyes.
“How’s this for an answer?”
The icy blue met with jade green. Both the two take each other’s apple. Taking a bite from their apple, nothing could ever separate the evident love in them. Indulging in the sweet taste of their love, they both knew the answer.
“Take care, Master Allen!”
Seeing the expectant look in her eyes, Allen hurried with his response but was met with a blunt pain in his head as if it was struck by a blunt object.
The continuous pain in his head kept on hindering him from keeping his rational mind and it even affected him to the point of having his vision blurry.
When his vision was being affected by his headache, he started to see doubles of Iris.
‘One Iris, Two Iris, Three Iris, Four Iris… Is this heaven?!’
Allen distracted his thoughts but seeing that it didn’t stop his headache and it only worsened it, he could only muster all of the strength and rationality he has left to reply to [REDACTED].
‘Who is she?’
Despite his headache, his confusion overpowered the pain in his head as he didn’t know who the girl in front of him was. But his confusion didn’t last long as his headache overpowered his rationality to the point that his blurred vision could no longer see the appearance of the girl in front of him.
“Don’t worry, I will.”
He didn’t know why he said that, but he did nonetheless. He said that to the girl in front of him. A girl whose name and appearance were foreign to him but despite that, his heart felt a sense of familiarity with her.
He could no longer resist the pain as his body became too drowsy as if he had overdosed himself with sleeping pills, causing him to fall forward.
But before he became unconscious, he heard [REDACTED] spoke to him with a resolute and passionate tone.
“Amor Vincit Omnia.”
Despite his mind not knowing what it meant, his heart seemed to know about it but before he could further think about it, his vision blacked out.

“What do you mean, ‘you will’?”
Allen heard a too familiar voice to him. After hearing that voice, he immediately felt a stinging sensation on his face which caused his body to jolt and wake up.
Opening his eyes, the source of the voice came into his view and he instantly knew who it was. How could he not know when that person in front of him was the only one he could ever rely on in his life?
“Sorry, Asther. I just had a wonderful lucid dream.”
