One Piece: Gambling to The Top

World clicked his tongue as Josh stood up slowly, with his thumb pushing the guard of his Katana slowly. World didn't know who is this person, but given Josh's fighting spirit that can be felt through Observation Haki, it's easy to tell that he is so strong. He was even taking World lightly.

"Good, After being frozen and betrayed, I need something to warm up my muscles." World said as he scratched his beard. He walked forward slowly, displaying his large size against the arrogant young man.

"Weren't they enough." Josh pointed at the marines on the ground.

"Tsk. More More: 20 folds speed."

Using Shave, World vanished from sight and appeared behind Josh. The speed he had just used was equal to ten times the usual speed of a normal World Government agent.

When World's fist turned pitch black, he punched Josh's head. It should be excepted that his head would blow up. However, the very swift fist passed by his head.

World was quite amused. However, he wouldn't just stop his attack to analyse his opponents' actions.

"More More: Speed: 40 folds."

His fists turned into tens of afterimages, World punched Josh, who had been giving him his back.

Every fist had passed by his head. World noticed that his fists hadn't touched anything, and Josh seemed to be barely moving.

"You bastard! Take this, 100 times!"

Once the words left World's mouth, Josh lifted his sword and slammed backwards. World swiftly crossed his arms, clashing with the sheathed sword. World was unable to handle the impact, and he had to slide backwards until his back hit a building. The shockwave was strong that the building just collapsed and fell to the ground.

World reacted quickly and jumped in the sky, using Moonwalk.

"Just the increase of the speed makes it worthy," Josh muttered as he lifted his head to World, and he smiled.

Josh. He could see that World was someone who hate the World Government more than Josh himself. World may have some use for him…

You know, Devils are known to make contacts with those who are willing to do anything to achieve their desire or revenge.

"Why are you smiling!" World said. "You think you can mock me." He then flipped and landed on the top of a cliff.

"So what." Josh quickly drew his sword before sheathing it.

A huge compressed air arc flew toward World. Reacting quickly, World lifted a 50 cm long rock, and after covering it in Haki, he threw it forward. "More More: Size 100 times!"

The rock became 50 meters long, covered in Haki.

"Super." Josh praised.

Not even Admiral can cover such space with enough Armament Haki to make it pitch black. In any case, it countered his casual attack, but the rock still got cut in half.

World wasn't on the cliff. Josh still could sense him. He turned and he saw World holding a big canon on his shoulder.

*BOOM*

The cannonball flew toward Josh, and in an instant, it grew so big, ten times taller than Josh. Not to mention, it preserved its original speed; Not finding another choice, Josh extended his hand forward and furrowed his eyebrows. His hand and the gigantic ball met. Josh pushed his legs to the ground and slide a few centimetres back. The shockwave of his clash made the ground behind him crack.

"I felt that," Josh muttered. With his new level of power, even in his basic form, he is confident of taking such a gigantic ball.

*Swish*

When World appeared behind Josh, he kicked down. "100 times stronger."

This time, World moved a hundred times faster than before, and now, he is increasing his own strength.

"I think I now know how your ability works. Not so bad."

World's fist hit the thin air. Once he turned, World's heart almost jumped out of his chest as he saw a scary-looking demon, who happened to be taller than him.

World felt the power from his enemy. Every part of his body was telling him to escape. It was his instinct. World tried to use Shave to escape, but it was no use as the demon held him from the neck, stopping him from going.

"It's already over."

Josh lifted World from the neck.

Demonic energy surrounding him, Josh used the attribute of Gluttony.

This attribute allows Josh to devour everything from his enemies attacks to simple things, such as energy, or muscles.

"Lemme eat your calories."

World suddenly felt tired, and he was unable to move. Once Josh let him out of his grip, World fell on his knees. He wanted to say something, but his body barely had any power left.

Josh then put a vessel with a chained demon pattern next to World. World's eyes shone in white light before he closed them.

Josh put his hand inside of the vessel, and he grabbed the Devil Fruit.

Playing with it using his hand, Josh observed it as he turned into his human form.

"With Devil Blood, I guess I can increase its power by 50% plus another 50% makes it 125% of the original one. So, that should give me the ability to increase things by 225 times."

One always need to do the math.

Josh opened his mouth, and he said. "May God help me with the shitty taste. Amen."

Eating Devil Fruit again wasn't a pleasant experience.

Josh's face turned green once he ate the fruit. He had the urge to vomit, but he handled it.

'Ha…'

Letting a sigh, Josh sat down and held a rock. How should he trigger it? It's easy. All he has to do is do until he finds the feeling, and then, he learns how to use that feeling.

He threw the rock forward, and all of the sudden, it grew big, 100 times, enough to break the wall.

Feeling excited about an experiment, Josh stood up.

"I see… I get it!"

Josh could understand his new Devil Fruit in no time.

The talents he has from the system are no jock.

Putting his hand on the grip of the Katana, he couched lowly and he looked at the sky. Black aura covered his sword.

'Okay. More More. Size: 100 times.'

He drew the Katana out of the sheath, sending a great black arc with all of his strength. It was already big enough to cut the island, as it was a couple of kilometres long. (1.25 miles)

But in instant, the size of the sword arc grew. 200 kilometres long, and it flew to the sky, cutting all of the clouds in half. (125 miles)

This time, even Josh was in awe of himself.

The blade was so big. It's not only enough to cut one island or a full country, but if it was aimed at the ground, he may cut a few layers from the Earth, possibly causing the whole world to die, even if somehow he managed to avoid the centre of this world. Not to mention the strength of the shockwave he may create.

Divine Rank item is really a game-ending package. No wonder that even 18.000 points aren't enough to get him a second one.

The World Government. Fuck them. Josh had done what he wanted to reach on the first day in this world — getting enough strength to live his life.

Josh suddenly sensed a near bird flying. He jumped high in the sky, and he looked at the mailing bird, which was shocked of seeing him. Josh extended his hand and he put it in the bag of the bird, taking a newspaper, before letting the gravity pull him to the ground next to World.

"Okay, My picture is on the headlines. Let's see my bounty…" Josh lying on the ground.
