Chapter 126 [Return Cliche]
"I'm going to peacefully demonstrate my power to the cultivators." Helix explained.
Atlas laced his hands behind his head and laid down with an amused expression.
"Peacefully?" Atlas asked with a smirk.
"Yes. I'll show up during a practice session in the arena and hold a mock battle with Riley." Helix explained with a slight smile.
"That way, no one gets hurt, but they can see our overwhelming strength."
"That's it?" Atlas asked.
"That's it. It will exert our dominance without causing resentment or trouble." Helix replied with a slight smile.
—
Helix and his partners walked into the arena through the front gate.
The familiar sand subconsciously sent a chill down his spine.
His body was reacting to the memory of the deathmatch, his last experience in the arena.
However, his brain didn't process the situation.
The group had their eyes focused in front of him.
There were over one hundred people present, and the atmosphere was heavy.
They didn't know what was happening, but they knew it wasn't good.
"Hah! What are you going to do about it!?" A young man's arrogant voice yelled out.
"Fuck you! This isn't a god damn game!" Another young man replied.
"It's not? You ants made this a cultivator paradise!" The first laughed.
"I'm not sure how you made these laws, but wheeeeeew! I like it!"
"Ronka, isn't this a bit much?" A third interjected.
"Shut up, virgin. These are the laws, and I'm simply following them." Ronka laughed.
"Leo! Do you want help?" A fourth yelled.
"Keep out of this!" Ronka roared.
"Boys! This is a state of emergency and you're guests of the Alzerian kingdom." Macron yelled.
"Huh? These are your rules. Besides, if these weaklings can't handle us, then how helpful will they be?" Ronka asked mockingly.
"Boys! Now is not the time. You're here to help defend against an attack.
Stop acting like a pack of immature—"
"Macron. These are the laws of the Alzerian kingdom." A gruff man's voice snapped.
"You have no right to raise your voice to my students, especially when we're here to aid Alzeria."
Macron glared at the man with hatred in his eyes.
"When did you become so cold, Lamath?" He asked.
"Me? Cold. Don't you dare insult me again, or I'll make the most of these rules myself!"
Macron gritted his teeth but did not act.
These were the rules of the kingdom, after all.
"Hah! You hear that, Maze?
Even Master Lamath agrees with us.
So stop being so uptight." Ronka laughed.
"Look, Ronka. This isn't right—"
"Shut the hell up!"
BOOM!
A dust cloud shot into the sky.
When it settled, Helix could see a boy gasping for air.
He was okay, but the strike winded him.
"Riley. Don't be too fast. Let's not give them the desire to challenge us." Helix requested.
She nodded and started running in the boy's direction.
"Hmmm? How the hell is that? She's pretty cute for a [natural]!" Ronka grinned.
He was referring to someone without artificial beauty.
"W-Wait! Is that Riley!?" A young man called out.
"Yes. It is!" Helix announced with a bold voice.
—
"Just like that? You're not going to leak the news you're alive or anything?" Atlas asked in confusion.
It was lucky Kylon wasn't riding with them. Otherwise, he might have had a panic attack.
"Yes. If the otakus knew ahead of time, people can start plotting." Helix replied.
"It's better to be confident."
—
The blood in the super-otakus faces drained instantly.
Their heads turned toward the voice with the fluidity of a rusty cog.
"Hmmm? Who the hell are you?" Ronka sneered.
However, when he saw Marie and Charlotte, he grinned.
Interestingly, the super-otakus valued original beauty more than the fake beauty many chose.
The imperfections made them seem more desirable.
"Hah. Hey beauties, ditch the freak and come to my side.
I'll show you what a man with real power is like." Ronka proclaimed while cupping the air in front of him and licking it.
Helix's blood started to boil over.
However, he had enough problems already.
"Is it truly him?" A person whispered.
"Isn't he dead?" Another asked under their breath.
"He's with the Fairies. I wonder if that's where they were going."
Ronka's face heated up in anger when he realized everyone's attention was on Helix.
Marie and Charlotte were staring at him in disgust, Riley didn't glance at him, and no one cared about him.
Macron's face paled at the sight of Helix, who passed by him without a glance.
"Do these people think you're strong or suppin'?" Ronka asked with a gruff voice.
"Hah. Look how confident he looks." Another boy chuckled.
"He's skawree." A third called out.
The forty-five guest power-weebs burst into laughter, and Lamath grinned at the competition.
He was itching to face off his students against Macron's, as the two had a rivalry.
"You're free to interpret my strength however you wish." Helix replied while walking in front of Ronka.
He was three feet away, staring the man in the eyes.
His pitch-black eyes sent a chill down Ronka's spine.
However, it only made him more excited.
Ronka was someone that chose the Eye of Beauty, and he had bright red eyes to make him look demonic.
"Hah. You're just an ant, pretty boy. Annoying too." Ronka declared.
"But I like the coat. I think I'll take it."
Helix gave him a vicious grin that reflexively caused Ronka to recoil his hand.
The action caused a wave of minor chuckles to ripple through the crowd.
They were almost exclusively awkward.
The Alzerian Knights were staring at Helix like a ghost, and everyone was also nervous that Ronka would kill him.
Helix looked to his right to check on Riley and Maze.
The boy was sitting up already and thanking her with a worried expression.
He then looked to the left.
Peter was lying on the ground with a major burn on his leg.
His clothing was still smoking, and his servant attempted to give him first aid.
"Hmmm. It seems you like the new rules here." Helix noted with a caustic chuckle.
"That's right. I [looooooove] it here." Ronka said with a grin.
"Let me ask you." Helix scoffed lightly.
"Do you understand these rules?"
"Are you calling me stupid or something?" Ronka gruffed with a murderous gaze.
"No. I'm asking if you understand that I can slit the throat of everyone here and get away with it." Helix asked with a poker face.
Gasps exploded from every direction.
Ronka looked at the sword on Helix's hip.
It wasn't ordinary by any means, which made him interested.
"Boy! If you say something stupid like that again, [I'll] kill you." Lamath yelled.
"Hmmm. So you also know the laws here. And you're okay with them?
You would be okay watching all of your students get slaughtered and not take it as a slight to the Thyme kingdom?" Helix asked with a serious voice.
"Boy, if you say one more—"
"Yeah, that's right, you fuckin' normie." Ronka roared.
p
Tomorrow I'm bringing tents to this place.
I'll enjoy making use of my new harem."
Helix's eyes widened when he saw five female super-otakus behind him.
In the center was Sarah, Leo's girlfriend.
Helix knew in an instant why the group was fighting.
To the far left was—
"Millie…." Helix whispered with a pain-stricken heart.
"I can't wait to add those bitch—"
Ronka started wobbling in place, and his breathing became strained.
"Marie, Charlotte. Take the girls to our side, now!"
The two nodded, and like ghosts, they disappeared.
Within seconds, the girls were on the other side.
"What the hell is—"
Helix turned his gaze to Lamath, and the man also started swaying back and forth.
"What the fuck… is this!" Ronka roared between dry breaths.
Helix was standing in the same position with his hands in his peacoat's pockets.
"What?" He growled with a murderous voice.
The entire crowd of power-weebs roiled with fear.
Their primal instincts were telling them to run away.
After all, Helix just pointed out that he could slit the throats of everyone present.
Now their level 148 teacher was gasping for breath and sweating.
"You came into Alzeria, declared you'd assault our women and murder our men, and you've never experienced [killing intent]!?" Helix roared.
