Quest For Three Stones (13)
Zunal;
All those monsters which he hunted in the hope to get the desired stone brought not a single experience point in return compared to this one. At least Qiao could feel satiate with the development and it was no more stagnant at the previous points. Moreover he got one of the stones; two more to go. He put it under the sleeve and then sat on the ground to take some breaths. He was fighting from an unknown amount of time and currently has no idea about the time frame just could only guess to confirm as to how tired and exhausted he was presently.
The destroyed team left and the wilderness resumed the silence. "Brother I am excited about the adventures ahead; it must broaden about the continents and how the things work when collaborating with normal hunters." Wuza expressed how the time he spent here was useful for him. "I am sure you will be able to reset some of the rules for the three tribes of the blood hunters and make a way for them in the Hightown in the future." Qiao patted his shoulder. Wuza has clearly potential to cooperate in any team of normal hunters and strengthen the overall force of the team. He believed that if all the teams started to add at least one blood hunter with the set rules then the teams would less likely to face high damages or a total wipe out in the serious situations.
Most of the teams in many places of hunting face such situation and it was the core reason for half of the classes to streak out completely before reaching the level eighth or ninth. And this was also the rudimentary cause for lesser number of Hunter Kings especially those who were freshly attained to this level and could maintain the balance of the power. Of course there was no use of retired Hunter Kings; they cannot go on risky and dangerous missions.
Only young Hunter Kings could endeavor and defeat the rare type of monsters with their risk taking nature and the chances of success if they experiment with setting new-fangled standard in the hunting and only fresh blood could tryout perils. "Believing people so easily is a mistake most of the time." Lowa interrupted the blood hunter and stared the young hunter; a clear gesture that she did not believe this hunter yet.
"In my hometown; not believing anyone is said to be called a disease. Now finally I saw someone inflicted with this disease." Qiao carefree spoke as if not talking to the huntress. Lowa choked on her nails which she was trying to bite to set them little in shape. "Who are you arbitrating?" She might have pounced if she was not worried about the blood hunter siding with this young hunter nevertheless it did not mean that she would let it go.
"I cannot express my opinion on this. I never heard about it." Wuza shook his shoulders. First he was feeling strange vibes as if two people were fighting without weapons but if it were to be fight between two blood hunters they might have taken bite of each other to express whether they were angry or happy. He was simply trying to learn what was going on and started observing both. "There is another disease called nail biting and people often get seriously sick with it." Qiao did not answer instead rebutted with another remark.
Well, he knew that here the concept of germs does not exist and nail biting cannot point as the ailment still he was focusing at the cold war which this huntress started first. Lowa was stumped again though she only wanted to bring her nail in good shape but definitely her method seemed crude. Her cute face instantly turned dark because of the way this young hunter was trying to tell that she has no manners. "People should mind their own business else I won't care their charm anymore and tell them to not bother with the poisonous tongue." She clomped her feet on the ground and stood up to go away from both hunters. One was constantly throwing poisonous words and the other perceived like he was too much invested in this conversation. "If I say that you were fighting a verbal war then it would not be perfect assumption and I can't imagine that both of you have a deep grudge so I am little worried what it could be." Wuza murmured to himself.
He did not speak between their verbal war only observed and he was sure to reach on some conclusion soon but the huntress left or accepted defeat. "Brother Qiao, Lowa seemed afraid of you but I don't know why." He finally reached at the conclusion though it was not helpful in understanding the real tension. "I don't think she is, she did not even care to injure a level higher huntress. Who could say that she is afraid of anything? Probably she is batting eyes at something I myself don't. I only felt it when she was sneaking toward me." Qiao shook his shoulders.
He was not clear so he cannot tell what it was. "Is the nail biting really a disease?" Wuza asked again. If this was true then his whole three blood tribes were in difficult situation. Almost all the blood hunters shear off their nails with their teeth. "This actually not a disease however it does not look agreeable or decent." Qiao explained. "Oh, now I understood what was it?" Wuza nodded his head as he has found the real formula of corpus scale only if he knew what the monster was called corpus scale.
He seemed to understand the reason why the huntress was so reluctant to give face in the retort of conversation. "Brother, girls are the same whether they are blood huntress or normal huntress. They don't understand the simple logic of a man." Wuza patted the shoulder of the Qiao and nodded his head as if an elder was trying to teach the younger child. Qiao somewhat got confused; he could not get what this blood hunter was implying. "What logic?" he asked and in answer wuza only nodded his head, "I can understand I can understand." Qiao saw the expressions of the blood hunter however he still could not grasp the situation because it was not easy to read over the normal expressions of a blood hunter, only if Wuza smiled or talked the thing openly then it could be cleared but he seemed to take it as a secret with him.
"I wonder how the Zunal stone would end up in my hands." Since Qiao cannot predict what was going on in the head of this blood hunter he simply assumed that he must be trying to comprehend about the difference between blood hunter tribes and the normal teams. "I would rest for some time because blood hunters don't actually put that much effort every day. They simply concern about hunt when they are hungry or thirsty. Brother should also take some pause." Wuza need some repose. Though blood hunters were powerful but they also have their limits. Qiao has no concern with the time but it actually has been three days that he was hunting without rest and with him Wuza was also vigorous to bring the monsters one by one.
Three days without rest meant a lot for a normal hunter. Qiao was simply pushing himself to limits. He looked at the number of monster's dead bodies and felt that he was also tired. With this his nerves finally gave in and he positioned on the bare ground with ease thinking that he should rest for some time. This was because he got one of the stone and it was a sign that he should keep the hopes high about the other two stones.
The huntress who was pretending as if sleeping at some distance opened her eyes when she was sure that the young hunter was in deep sleep. She was waiting to check about her suspicion and get the stone of charm. The stone was charm would be much helpful for her in many ways; first of all the evil hunters would not think about her badly only get charmed in a way that brings lot of reticent and cagey esteem for someone. This way she no more need to be worried about bad hunters and keep her journey going without much ado and focus on her level up. She wanted to become stronger than her mother and it was the promise she made with her when leaving the safe place. Coupled with her information about most of the things about hunting and level up she could run her journey smoothly if she was not surrounded by some evil eyes.
She limbered like a cat toward Qiao in order not to alert him. Removing her hair lock from her face she was almost near him.
