Chapter 155: Quest For Three Stones (6)
Quest for the Three Stone (6)
Opus;
Wilderness is no more wilderness;
What made it wilderness was the emptiness and the tranquility which was slowly fading as three dead bodies lay their lifeless and Qiao was standing much active to receive one more monster. At least this way; his hope was not shattering and his attention was on the next monster.
Wuza appeared madly running and laughing; he was such lively from his nature that normal hunter might take him as abnormal blood hunter. "Brother Qiao, be careful; this monster is already triggered." He shouted and waved his hand in the air. The monster was still behind him and Qiao also joined in. Soon they started to trail in a circle and no one knew who was running behind whom.
It was mess of situation and at the end the monster fell with the double attack. "Brother; what about the stone?" Wuza asked expectantly and Qiao shook his head disappointed. One more monster added in but without any hope of getting any of the required stone.
"There is no need to get dejected." He patted Qiao and Qiao nodded, "I know when there is a will; there is a way to it. I am confident that soon we will get the real monster bearing the stone. If you are tired you should rest or go back to your tribe." Qiao patted his shoulder.
Until now he has done a good favor and Qiao was contented with it. "Hah, no I am not tired instead I am pleasantly happy about it. I never spent considerable time without the team in the forest but I am much glad that I came back to see you. Those monsters are really interesting. I wish to learn more about them so I have decided that I will follow you if you don't mind."
He asked instead from him that he wanted to follow. Now Qiao was again speechless how he could follow him when he was a traveler of dangerous journey where the wicked hunter can anytime appear and create trouble for him; would not it harm whoever traveled with him. Thinking this he thought to refuse immediately but where was Wuza?
Qiao was agape when he saw him again crossing the barrier. Wuza slightly moved his neck and laughed, "Brother Qiao thinks too much; according to the rules of my tribe, if a human think this much then he is bound to remain limited in his webbing of thoughts." He waved his hand and went out of the barrier.
For a long time; Wuza kept bringing the monster by hook or by crook and according to the real time frame the whole night passed in this struggle. There were many dead bodies in the wilderness now and it looked like this place gone through a blood battle between monsters and humans.
Many types of monsters and their lifeless bodies indicate the horrible nature of the hunter who hunted them. But Qiao whose sword was endlessly dripping blood was tired now and sitting to take some breath. He was a normal human who was attaining to reach the peak of level five.
Though he was now well built and powerful but to hunt this many monsters without resting in intervals looked unrealistic. It was Wuza who always said some words of encouragement but now he was also sitting silent. He was playing all along but the severity of the situation was in front of him. He could not believe that he harnessed many monsters. It was normal for him because he was only doing a raw job but what about the normal hunter.
He was forced to think that the young hunter was strong too. His Blood hunter tribes always told that normal hunters were less strong compared to the blood hunters but to see this young man; he has a reason to repudiate this claim.
The huntress first kept looking at the ongoing situation then she was tired and fell asleep at the far end of the wilderness where Qiao would not bring the triggered monster carelessly.
Many times she thought to avail a chance and then search the body of the young hunter for the stone but then she was giddy to see the never ending struggle and hunting.
Qiao put his sword on his chest and looked at the sky which was perhaps fabricated just like the wilderness. Both were unreal. He was dead tired now wanted some rest badly. Wuza saw him and came. He also did the same just that he has no sword to put on the chest. "I never saw someone consistent not even the elders of our tribes. Despite all the stiff appearance you look sad which I would not ask why you are sad but really I admire those hunters who have strong aims to follow and do not accept defeat and I wanted to become the same. I wanted to leave the boundary of my tribes and see the Hightown. I always fascinate those who became hunter kings and have ventured almost all the parts of the world."
"You are quite ambitious then. I will also be heading toward Hightown once I am free from this barrier. If you wanted to go there you can travel along. I am from starglow Guild so I will get permission for this travel. This way you can see the Hightown and if wanted to become one of the strong hunter you can try there. I am not sure how things work in the Hightown so I might not be helpful regarding information." Qiao talked with ease.
"I can't go there. My elder told that Hightown does not allow blood hunters to be accepted in any of the three schools of hunting." Wuza told. The blood hunters were powerful compared to the normal hunters and it was common concept that if blood hunters came in power they would abuse their power just like monsters.
So it was acclaimed rule that blood hunters would not be allowed to complete the quests; if they drank blood of any of the rare beast then they would be unstoppable.
