Chapter 153: Quest For Three Stones (4)
Quest For Three Stones:
Opus;
Making Friends
Qiao has taken a look at the monster which was brought by the blood suckers; there was a stones inside it but not the desired one. The only difference was that now there were two leftover carcasses of monsters.
The huntress seemed learning how to get used to her present situation. She went again to look for the exit or try out once again so she was walking endlessly and doing all possible things to find it, for example stabbing her weapon in the air, focusing with the help of her ears to listen some sound from the outside forest.
Qiao was now sitting and thinking about how long he have been here despite all effort he was unable to tell the time frame, nothing changed from the time he reached here. The air scattered the dry dust and he stood up excitedly thinking that another monster was about to reach there. The youngest blood sucker stopped right in front of him and smiled, "Brother; how I should return back the favor?"
To see him; Qiao lost the excitement and shook his shoulders, "There is no need for that." If it was another monster then he has hope to get the stone but what can he ask to him in return of tiny favor which was not actually a favor in his eyes. "Oh, I thought you would mind our behavior.""No, I won't." Qiao plainly spoke and his eyes were wandering in the wilderness.
"Brother, you look dejected. Can I render any help? Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I am from the tribe of Blood Hunters, my name is Wuza." The blood hunter introduced himself. He did not know what problem this hunter was presently facing but he has observed the difference between the forest and this specific wilderness. "Wuza, I might have been happy but currently I am struck in this wilderness, my name is Qiao." Qiao answered looking at him. According to the huntress this man was called blood sucker while he introduced him as the Blood Hunter which was not as rude as the term blood sucker.
"Oh, this simple; perhaps I can help with it. Come along." He walked to leave the barrier but Qiao still left behind. He was thrown away as soon as his body touched the barrier line. Wuza got worried to see this and returned inside again. He thought that the barrier was not hindrance for him so he could bring out Qiao too but it proved wrong.
When Qiao was thrown mercilessly, the huntress came rushing to see what was going on; she saw the blood hunter and stepped back. Wuza was not old or horrible but because he imbibe blood; his features were little mature and stiff. If he happened to see with his blood red eyes angrily then the soft heart human might fell unconscious or face heart attack.
He was near six feet and wearing the irregular clothing which was enough to frighten the girl. "Brother I am sorry, are you hurt?" Wuza asked the hunter feeling apologetic. "Its alright." Qiao waved his hand. He cannot blame the intentions of this blood hunter; he was only trying to help him.
"I did not know that you are restrained here. What is that stopping?" he was curious because he never knew anything such like exist."
"Someone wants to find trouble with me, nothing else but I will be able to solve it; you can return back." Qiao responded without getting angry or dejected. Now it was clear that nobody can forcefully bring him out of this barrier. He has to find the three stones at any cost.
"I called you brother so I cannot return back without helping out my brother." He spoke resolute and Qiao was astounded to the extent to look at him seriously.
The huntress could not believe that rumored cruel humans can be of this nature. Until now, her mother always warned her to never cross path with blood suckers but here she was standing right beside one and he was speaking as typical as a friend speak to the other.
"It would take me long and who knows how many monsters I have to hunt to find the three stones which would let me off to this barrier so you don't have to worry and go back. Those stones can only break this barrier so I have to wait for the monsters who bear those stones." Qiao spoke with ease and nodded.
He was genuinely happy to meet someone of good nature but he cannot stop any passerby to help him.
"So it would solve this way." Wuza deliberated over for some time and then stood up. "Alright, I have decided that I would bring the monsters here for you to hunt them and see whether they bear the specific stones." Wuza announced enthusiastically and rushed to get the one immediately. For him and his tribe: they never bothered with the stones so he has no clue as to which type of monster bear specific stones so he would bring monsters one by one for brother Qiao to take a look first.
Qiao was speechless to hear and looked toward the huntress, "You remembered your words about the blood suckers?" he almost twitched his brows because according to her; these humans no more bear human nature. "This" she was short of words too and could not refute in return.
"Such a rude term; make sure you tell everyone that they are called Blood Hunters when you return back." Qiao reminded her and she earnestly nodded. He himself could not believe that someone was ready to harness monsters for him to hunt and search the stones but the words of the blood hunter did not carry any fake promise vibes.
Qiao was little glad that now he no more need to wait for blind time for a monster to appear; he was thinking and the dust scattered to give the indication.
