I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History

Chapter 207

“Isn’t this something my father is well aware of?”

Duke said matter-of-factly.

…What?

I was too astonished to speak. If the king knew, why didn’t he say anything?

“I told you, my father is not stupid.”

“You mean he’s laissez-faire? …No, no, but he should have stopped the deportation of the daughter of a nobleman.”

“He’s probably not saying anything because he thinks I have a plan.”

“It’s tough to be a parent when you have an overachieving son.”

“I haven’t accomplished anything yet.”

Duke chuckles. …So no matter how good you are, it doesn’t matter if you don’t actually achieve something.

His eyes glow blue in the sunlight. I couldn’t help but admire his clear blue sky eyes. If someone gazed at me with those eyes for a long time, I’d be attracted to them regardless of gender.

The golden eyes of Alicia were also really beautiful. Is it a given that noblemen have beautiful eyes?

Alicia complimented my gray eyes as intelligent, but I’ve never liked my own eyes.

“Well, are Duke’s eyes special too?”

“What do you mean, my eyes are special too?”

Duke furrowed his brow, as if he didn’t understand the question.

“According to Gramps, Alicia’s eyes are special. It’s not like the world looks brighter through her eyes or anything…”

“Like Speed reading?”

“That, too, but she appears to be able to see things in slow motion that are ridiculously fast, as well as things that are quite far away.”

I couldn’t find the right words to explain it. It’s a little strange for me to explain how people’s eyes work in the first place.

Duke thought for a while, and then opened his mouth.

“I’m normal. I can figure out most things if I look at them for a moment, but not as fast as Alicia can.

That was special enough ; what was normal to Duke was special to an ordinary person.

“I’ve seen her read quickly before, and it was impressive, but the one that gave me goosebumps was the apple incident.”

“What’s that?”

Alicia rarely talked about her childhood, so I had no idea what kind of childhood she had had.

She had been able to use magic and sword fighting since the first time I met her. She must have put in a lot of effort. And yet, when I asked her about it once, she said that when she was little, she was an unruly, selfish woman.

…I don’t believe that was a lie, but I also don’t believe it was the truth either.

“The incident where she pulled the sword from Albert’s waist and sliced an apple in half with a swat as it fell from above.”

“…Haah!”

I shouted out loud.

What the heck, she was able to do such a superhuman feat before she met me? That means she must be pretty young then.

“How old was she when that happened?”

“Seven years old? I think she was about seven.”

“I can’t believe it. I can’t believe a seven-year-old girl could lift a sword…”

“She didn’t just lift it, she used it as a sword.”

Duke laughed, knowing how skilled she was at it.

If she just wanted to be a villainess, why does she need to do so much? My whole body shuddered.

“What the hell is she?”

The edge of my mouth unconsciously lifted in recognition of her tremendous talent.
