Chapter 511 - Ancient Goddess' Wisdom (I)
“Seeing that Lord God has not yet reached the end of the road and still possesses such confidence, I feel relieved. If you have a problem, even I would have some difficulties with my own matter.”
Shae placed her fingers on her lips in thought. She looked incredibly flirtatious as her black eyes were full of laughter, but deep inside there was only frightening silence and indifference.
This was Shae’s inner true nature. She could now be described as a parasite. She sold her body and her secrets just for a chance to survive.
Even Louie wondered if Shae would hate him or not once she left his divine system, or treat him just as Selune now treated him - with slight affection and slight indifference.
Naturally, Louie did not really care too much. This master-slave period was three thousand years. In these three thousand years, Louie would have enough time to obtain the ultimate power unless the current events prevented him from doing so. If that happened, it would probably take more than ten thousand years for him to grasp the power of order.
“I wonder what kind of cards you are hiding to have this much confidence and not feel nervous. Is it something left behind by the Terran Civilization? Or is it something left by the Five-colored Dragon God? If it’s something left by that alien civilization, I would advise you to not use it. Unless you are in a life and death situation, it’s best not to use that civilization’s weapon.”
“If it’s just a small weapon, it can be ignored and treated as if it was a spell, but if it's a kind of weapon that could exterminate an entire race, then you might just lock yourself into a dead end.”
The Goddess of Night’s words were full of advice. She didn’t want Louie to have problems because of his arrogance. If he did, he would bring her down with him.
“Rest assured, Your Highness Shae! What I am relying on is neither related to the Five-colored Dragon God nor the alien civilization, so please spare me from the guesses. There are some things that would become useless once they are told.”
Louie replied with a smile on his face. It seemed that Shae thought that he had not only obtained the Five-colored Dragon God’s godhood but also information about the Terran Civilization. Perhaps Shae thought that the reason he could raise his godhood so fast had something to do with the Terran Civilization.
Unfortunately, the only thing Louie obtained was the useless remnant of the Terran Civilization. That seemingly dumb but smart Intelligent Brain. This artificial intelligence even had information that he could not pry from it. Their current relationship was one of mutual but wary cooperation.

‘If you know what I am relying on, you might be the first to rat it out to others.’
Louie secretly muttered.
His power of order was probably much more fearsome and disgusting to the gods than the Terran Civilization which was just strong. In the end, the gods won against the Terran Civilization after learning of its flaws. If the Terran Civilization invaded again, the gods would probably have enough countermeasures in place. Unless the Terrans evolved further they would be helpless against the gods.
However, Louie’s power of order was different. This was not bound by the factional compulsion of the world. It was one of the original powers that created the world that could be said to have unlimited power. It would allow Louie to break through any obstacles on his path to becoming the god of gods. If he truly became the god of gods, his relationship with the gods would greatly change. He would be ruling above everyone and overseeing everything.
The gods might be separated based on hierarchy right now, but in the future, there would be countless high-tier gods. There would not be much difference in their strength once that was the case. Their position would be the same, and they would still address each other as ‘your highness’.
But the god of gods was different. It was a totally different existence among the gods. It was an existence akin to an emperor appearing among kings. Which king would be willing to have someone above them?
Because gods were immortal and held supreme authority, they were more fearful of having someone above them in power.
From the Era of the Gods until now, there had been no god who was able to maintain a godhood of rank 20 for a long period of time. A big reason was that no god was willing to see a godhood of level 20 appear. A level 20 godhood automatically made one a candidate to become the god of gods so every god would try their all to hinder their progress.
Some gods would become openly hostile to anyone who had done so, while the rest would scheme behind the scenes with a variety of means. This was the same as how the human gods were treating Louie now. Those human gods would not jump at him like the Mother Earth Goddess, but they would definitely not help him if there was a chance to trip him up a little.
“The Lord God is right. Secrets are called secrets precisely because no one knows them. If they are told to anyone, they would lose their usefulness as secrets.”
Shae giggled. She understood why Louie would not tell her his trump card. As the goddess who grasped secrets, she would not sell her secrets unless she had no choice.
The only thing in Shae’s cold eyes was endless curiosity towards Louie.
The Lady of Secrets was eager to know what she did not know.
“Humans often say that when a woman becomes curious about a man, love begins.”
Louie, who was not affected by the hostility of the united front of the gods, was still able to joke with Shae.
“That’s why they are just mortals, and we are gods.”
