Kyoya and his party's hunt continued to provide a lot of ice resources for Xaya's cold ghost. It was also evolving with many irregular ice concepts, so she was learning her abilities at an unfathomable level.

But the husband's party knew that they would eventually get caught by them.

They imagined the invaders circling around them at some point!

And it was exactly what was happening right now.

Surrounded by the invaders whose clothes were exuding too much raw energy, Kyoya and his party were pinched down. It was not only the pressure of their equipment, but the whole underground seeming as if shrouded with their energies.

"Well then… Are you just going to look at us? I don't think my wife would like that."

"She has to deal with our eyes then."

"Filth!"

An invader took a step back, his heart trembling from an anger that Xaya's lips let out. He also saw her violet eyes dilating and turning into beast eyes filled with killing intent. As Xaya's cold ghost was already like the ferocious big wolf protecting the party, the invader had to be careful.

He gathered his composure and confidence rather quickly, though.

"What do you think your allies are doing right now?"

The invader in charge spoke, his hands taking out the ice mirror.

This ice mirror flashed with bluelight and answered the question marks that Kyoya's team had within their minds.

As the ice mirror revealed the fire kingdoms arguing and betraying each other up above, Yue's eyes went up with shock. She couldn't believe what she was saying, but the invader just poured more cold water onto her.

"We have been here for some time… It's not like we don't know what is going on with politics here…"

"It was easy. We didn't even need to speak with all of you. All that was needed was to leave a note that our goal is the beast. Losing this beast would be a tremendous hit to your floor's economy, but for many nobles here, the king is the king. Their pride seems also more significant than this whole phenomenon."

"There is also the guardian's family that just stays within the irregular ocean instead of trying to work with all three continents to seize the beast. Why do you think so?"

Yue just felt like all her work was wasted and so she couldn't even answer the invader's questions. He raised important points that struck her more, but the whole situation seemed so insignificant already.

It would be better to just leave the irregular beast to the guardian family and return to the kingdom… It would be indeed far better than risking their lives here, but Kyoya quickly helped Yue deal with the crisis.

"Your efforts haven't been wasted, Yue. It means that you have what it takes to rule this whole continent."

Kyoya was happy to see Xiaoxiao and Rosa doing fine. Akaro as usual was just safe within Xiaoxiao's embrace, so he wasn't worried at all. Instead, he focused on what was within his reach!

He comforted Yuyu Yue and then pointed his knife at the invader.

"This place will be your kingdom's power. Isn't it an underground below the ocean? A pathway towards the other continents?"

"This is… true. But it's also too dangerous, Kyoya."

"It won't be dangerous if you were to control this place. That's why, raise your pretty face and face those invaders. My wife is also mad at them, so I at least will be fighting."

"Kill the filth, husband!"

"I am with you, Kyoya."

Hearing all of this, Yue just blushed as she acted totally not like herself at all. A soft blush crept onto her cheeks after husband called her pretty, then the queen returned! She had to grasp everything that was within her reach for her own and kingdom's benefits!

Now that there was a lot of filth both here and in her kingdom, Yue raised her sword and utilized the immortal concept of her lord.

Of course, it was far from the 'immortal concept' as she was just the believer, but Kyoya was glad to see her like that.

"Xaya, you are the strongest here…"

"Ah, yes! Hehe! The husband's back is too comfy!"

"Didn't you just say out loud to kill the filth?"

"The husband confirmed the death for those filths, so I got too comfy!"

"You still can feel comfy, can't you? Use the cold ghost and then its power on yourself."

Since Kyoya planned to go and kill, Xaya's body would either slow him down at times or just become the burden. He didn't want her to become a shield or anything like that, but it would be different if she were to become the cold ghost herself.

As Xaya heard it, she smiled sweetly and used this power!

Her cold ghost already ran rampant!

"Hmm… I feel… strange…"

Said the husband as he raised his hand. His skin became blueish and he also could see the ground through it…

[The time of Xaya's cold ghost transformation has been increased by two.]

"The husband! Your power wants me to stay longer with you! It means you also want it! I love you so much! Kiss!"

"Not now! What the hell… I can float? T-this is so weird."

"Kiss, the husband!"

The husband as usual lost to his wife's charm.

He turned his head to the side, then waited for Xaya to pounce at him, but what happened caused him to burst into a huge laughter. His wife just went past him somehow and nearly fell off of him! She looked so lost it was cute, but only for a moment.

"Haha! Ha-"

"My kiss…"

[The Deathbringer's cold ghost has become stronger.]

Xaya just got angrier and colder, her feelings fueling the cold ghost that began to spit some blue flames out of its mouth! It looked like there were some kanji with written 'Filth!' within those.

The husband's laughter just kept increasing.

"What the fuck?! Hahah!"

Kyoya took a step back, then his foot went into the ground. He felt it clearly and without any knowledge or 'ghostly senses' he just began to get pulled by the underground! As if there was a vortex of an unknown energy, Kyoya was slowly disappearing.

"The husband!"

"Fuck, help me! Xaya! It's your damn power!"

"Just wait!"

"Holy fuck! I am already half-way gone!"

Luckily enough, Xaya's cold ghost was too strong for the invaders. It was fueled by not only the anger, but also shock as Xaya's husband was disappearing. It allowed Yue and Noe to sometimes peek at the couple who were in their own world.

It was as if they were fooling around in the battlefield yet the two ladies were jealous of this.

However, no one, except the invaders, knew that the cold ghost going rampant was part of the invader's new plan.

Because it had their master's beaming, the invaders realized that they could use it to accelerate their plan.

And so the whole underground began to slowly change!
