Other than the husband preparing some stuff for the incoming battle, the queen also sent fire related items that would help the party fare well against the ice attribute. This was taken as a good tribute by Akaro.

The cat used its guardian spirit's status and played with those items for the party's growth, but her divine status brought up pleasant bonuses too. Everyone could see the new stats thanks to the game system!

"I think we also should prepare fire resistance pills."

"I think so too."

"Looks like we have the same idea… I find it surprising that there is a well hidden ice base below the whole continent. There might be some betraying people from other kingdoms, but let's hope this is just my weird thinking."

It wasn't like Kyoya and his party belonged to the kingdom, so it was far easier for them to assume such things. Not like Yue hadn't thought about it, but it was harder for her to believe in any betrayals.

But the husband and Noe prepared well for both ice and fire attributes with the husband being actually stronger against the former due to his cards and just time in the fire continent.

Nonetheless, he had ice resistance from Ice Divine, so he was truly stacked here.

As the preparation got completed, Kyoya called both Xiaoxiao and Akaro to his room. The three of them were alone here with Xaya trying some more stuff with her cold ghost! She was willing to learn as much as possible in a short time due to the impending battle.

"It's about the direct disciple thing, Akaro."

"I see. Just go ahead and make Xiaoxiao your disciple."

"Xiaoxiao?"

"Yes, go ahead."

The husband nodded, then opened up the disciple system window. It was such a small list that many gods would take pity at Kyoya, but not like he was the god yet. It was lucky for him to have such ability!

Akaro considered it lucky as she just didn't want to question more of the husband's uniqueness. It was kinda absurd, but it was what it was. Her cat eyes just looked at the couple who was waiting for some big show, but the direct disciple's coronation just happened in less than two seconds.

[Xiaoxiao has become your direct disciple.]

Nothing, but just willingness was needed for that.

Xiaoxiao accepted herself as Kyoya's direct disciple and her body began to heat up after the message. It felt like other energy began to course more within her body! And it was genuinely like that as Xiaoxiao's fire mana began to mix with Kyoya's divine energy that was barely here due to the game system.

It was a little, but now it was just increasing! The one who passed it was obviously the husband who stood in a daze as he felt it. However, Kyoya quickly found what exactly was being passed to Xiaoxiao.

"W-what happened? Did I do something wrong?"

"Kyoya had gathered some belief out of disciples, but you absorbed everything."

Akaros tail went up and down as she looked at Xiaoxiao with disapproval. She just became a disciple and what did it mean? It meant that she should just ask the husband casually for more divine energy!

Unfortunately, Kyoya doesn't have more!

He had his 'own' divine energy that was coursing through his body, but what Xiaoxiao needed was 'the belief' that he gathers from his believers or disciples! A direct disciple was kinda greedy here!

However, it wasn't like Kyoya couldn't pass his own 'mana' to Xiaoxiao.

It wouldn't be permanent growth, but Xiaoxiao could get stronger temporarily which could be useful in some battles.

Kyoya wasn't that worried, but more eager to find disciples. It would require him to move a lot through the floors, but he was willing to do so! As the divine energy hadn't appeared for a long time, Kyoya thought about Josef and his girlfriend…

These two should've gathered a lot of this energy by now!

There was also another disciple with a temporary disciple concept!

More and more things began to add up to the husband's quest list, but he just smiled genuinely and looked at Xiaoxiao. His lady was standing with her eyes closed while feeling the new energy.

At some point, Xiaoxiao lost herself so much she nearly fell off, but Kyoya was here to catch her.

Akaro commented inwardly, then moved her four paws in their direction. She sat down next to Xiaoxiao and said good news.

"She should awaken a concept."

"But… I don't have any concept. I mean, I am not a god with a special one."

Akaro just rolled her eyes at the husband who was asking her questions deeply connected to his uniqueness. But what could she say? 'You are a weirdo, so just wait and look for the impossible'? The lady would it bizzare if every direct disciple had a different concept related to Trickster God!

However, Akaro asked a question after a brief pause.

"Is Xiaoxiao a weirdo?"

"If she is, then anything can happen. Aren't you exactly her husband?"

"Ugh, I feel like this Lord Ejolle is too powerful if he can predict me like that."

Wasn't it a big thing? The husband thought so, but he stayed silent as he knew that Akaro was getting uncomfortable. It was probably difficult to say 'I don't know' for her, even more if the question was related to the gods and their rules!

A silence lasted for an hour before Xiaoxiao opened her eyes.

She then looked at both Kyoya and Akaro with weird eyes.

In fact, Kyoya had to be the one to make her speak.

He asked awkwardly as the lady was just looking at them as if mute. As he brought his eyes closer, Xiaoxiao raised her hand and stopped him!

Kyoya hit his forehead strongly with his palm, then Akaro followed his suit as if getting closer to the mortals! Both of them knew that Xiaoxiao just acquired a strong concept that was unique yet her first thought was about pulling pranks with Xaya?

Of course, the husband nearly never punished his wife for these, but it wasn't because he liked these!

Xiaoxiao also took part in some of these, but it was just yandere wife killing her boredom or just pranking the husband which was usual act of affection! Nonetheless, that was what Xiaoxiao thought about first…

It was kinda cute, but Kyoya got wounded.

"I am not playing with others… despite being that Trickster God!"

Was he really? The husband's aura might be the cause!

Akaro couldn't listen to these two arguing about nonsense anymore, her paw descending from her cat's forehead. It hit the table with a flame burst, then with four eyes on her, Akaro spoke.

"So what exactly is this invisible flames concept? You just turn your flames invisible?"

"Yes, it looks like that…"

"Though it sounds simple, its simplicity gives you a lot of freedom and room to grow. Show us this concept."

"Okay!"

Xiaoxiao was feeling that the invisible flames were indeed a good concept, but not 'the best'. There were surely more stronger concepts in the Trickster God's divine energy, but Xiaoxiao wouldn't complain out loud like that.

It was just a momentary thought that got mixed with the 'prank' thoughts.

Surely, just a few hours later, Xiaoxiao will be all ready to seriously train this concept.

But Akaro's words cheered her up bountifully!

The lady took her spear out of inventory, then performed the technique to summon the flames around its whole shaft. Then, Xiaoxiao tried to use her concept, but just a little part turned invisible. It looked like the whole spear suddenly got broken, but it was obviously a trick.

"You can hide objects with this flame. Already a good usage, don't you think so?"

"Yes!"

"Haha, I am so glad for you, Xiaoxiao. You should enjoy this concept! I also feel like hiding powerful techniques is outstanding on its own!"

"Thank you, Kyoya! Let's get stronger together! I will help you find disciples, what do you think?"

The couple enjoyed their time together and played with the invisible concept a little more. As Akaro did her job as guardian spirit flawlessly, she just went for a rest then eyed both ��mortals' having their fun with the new flames.

Then, it was time to go and clear the invaders.

Akaro as usual struck with the reality and caused the two happily talking partners to just giggle awkwardly. She caused Kyoya to lose interest in the irregular beast, but there was a small part of him looking forward to it.

The couple then reunited with the first wife and the rest!
