Her Husband is My Lover

Edward raised his eyebrows as he saw her smiling Brightly at her for the first time.

"Ohh... Mr. Morgan!" Valentina said as she got up from the couch.

"Valentina... You are here? I didn't expected you here?" Edward asked as he walked inside his office closing the door behind him. 

Edward walked towards her with a smirk and raised his eyebrows as she looked at him with her eyebrows raise. 

"I would be much more happy if you call me Ms. Jackson." Valentina said making Edward chuckle.

"Alright... Ms. Jackson!" Edward replied as he walked close to her and was bit suprised as she still didn't step back but was not at all shocked as he knows that Valentina is a woman who is not at all a scared woman...

"I see you look confident today!" Edward said as he looked into Valentina's eyes.

"Excuse me... Care to remind me when was I or didn't look confident, Mr. Morgan?" Valentina asked with a smile making Edward nod his head.

"Right!" Edward answered as he chuckled.

"So... Ms. Jackson... Can I know why you are here so suddenly?" Edward asked making Valentina in his eyes.

"To know about my father!" Valentina answered making Edward eyes widened.

"Wh... What?" Edward asked as he stepped back from her making Valentina raise her eyebrows at him.

"Wha... What did you... You say?" Edward stuttered making Valentina frown at him.

"To know about my father!" Valentina answered again as she lokked into his eyes and he looked away from her.

"What happened?" Valentina asked.

"I... I don't... I don't think... We can talk... Talk about... Him..." Edward stuttered as sweat started foaming on his forhead making Valentina chuckle.

"Are you scared?" Valentina asked making Edward look at her with a frown and he chuckled lightly.

"Um... Umm... Why will I be... Scared?" Edward asked as he looked away from her as he couldn't look directly in her eyes.

Valentina frowned looking at him and his weird behaviour for the first time... As she didn't see Edward like this before ever... As he was a skirt chaser, Edward has his ways to talk but suddenly, She didn't expect this behaviour from him. Heck, she didn't ever saw him behaving like this ever before... But suddenly, she is getting some weird thought in her mind because she rarely tried to talk with anyone about her father... Many people knows that Valentina is a proud daughter of The great Anthony Jackson... But she never talks about him anywhere... Neither she takes her father name anywhere to make her business grow... 

Many were sacred of Anthony for his nature and the same nature is with Valentina... So, mostly people doesn't come in her way and step back even if she step ahead in any of deals. Because many knows that she will not let anyone get the deal... If she didn't get the deal then no one deserves it either. 

Her mindset was totally same like her father... Even though, she didn't communicated well with her father... She still got to know him the best as much as possible... The way he walks, the way he thinks, the way he find out about things those are mysterious and suspecious. 

As she is his blood, she didn't try to change herself much either... She just figured out how her father scare people around them by taking or grabbing or finding out their weakness... And their weakness works so well than anything. That is what kept Valentina stable until now in the business world. 

Valentina frowned as she saw Edward wiping off his sweat from his forhead and couldn't help the urge to keep it to her and so, she asked it out.

"Why are you scared? I didn't ask you anything yet about my father!" Valentina said as she raised her eyebrows at him making him look at her suddenly.

"Umm... I... I know nothing about him!" Edward asked as he looked away from her again.

Valentina smirked and walked towards him, close and stretched her hair and touched his forehead and touched his sweat.

She saw a few droplets on her finger and chuckled seeing them. She turned her head at him and saw him staring into her eyes.

"What are you sweating, Mr. Morgan?" Valentina asked but Edward just kept staring at her making her raise her eyebrows at him.

"Why are you sweating when you don't know anything about my father?" Valentina again asked making Edward gulp down. 

He stepped back and walked towards the big glass window and wiped off the sweat on his forhead making Valentina frown.

Valentina was confused at his behaviour as she never saw Edward like this... She only know that Edward who counter back but she never saw him silent.

She is confused why he is even sweating on just taking about her Father.

'Is there any connection between my dad and him?' Valentina asked herself in her mind.

'But... He is nothing to him... Well... Dad is not the one who can care about the persons like Edward... I am sure enough, Edward was Nothing when Dad is the leading businessman of the world.' Valentina thought.

'Am I lost anywhere? Or I am just thinking about the silly things?' Valentina thought.

'But... Why will he behave like this?' Valentina asked herself as she raised her eyebrows at him who's back faces to her. 

She never thought, A person like Edward can behave like this with just someone's name... 

He was all about to crack Valentina and stepped inside his office but suddenly, one word made him like this... 

She lokked at his body and how uncomfortable he is behaving as he keeps his hands in his pockets and the second he is removing and folding them... And again keeping them in his pockets and removing them as he wiped off the sweat. 

Valentina so wants to ask why he is just behaving so comfortable with the word of her father and what is the connection between them. But she is sure that there will not be any connection between them... As they both doesn't know each other... Even though, they both are businessman... They both doesn't have much connection with anyone... Neither Jackson or Avalanzo's... 

Valentina has her eyes on every businessman from her young age... Even though, she knows that Her father will not like her to take her up as his Heiress and will never introduce her to his business world... Still, Valentina used to follow up all the business papers and magazines... As she wants to know about what is going on with her Father and was so proud of him whenever he was in the front page of the magazine... Many would look up at Valentina so good as her Father is on the front page of the magazine every time... But again there are few people, who were so jealous of her father... And in that, Rose is the one who would love to irks her and talk around about her father even when he is upto no equal as Anthony Jackson. 

But, Valentina never used to tell anything as she always felt that she never has any right to talk about her father when her father thinks that she is not her daughter and declared that she will never be his Heiress... 

Valentina never imagined either that she will take up Jackson's companies... But the time was like this... Taht she should take up... She feels guilty for that... Because her father never wanted her to take up Jackson's Companies... 

But she is sure that, He never wanted Jackson's companies to go bankrupt. Neither she is not sure who will he even give his companies if not Valentina when he was about to retire from the companies.

Valentina sighed thinking about the all these things as she doesn't want to think about anything about the past... If she thinks about the past... She would keep on thinking on it and she knows it will only affect her so badly but still, she couldn't help but think about it... She wants to know more about her father from the person who is close to her and that is only George... But as He knows that Anthony never used to like Valentina, he never used to talk or wants to know Valentina about Anthony... Valentina was really angry on George for not telling anything about her father but still, she couldn't blame him. 

Until a few days back, she didn't used to like her mother... But now, she does... And now, it will help her to know about her father from her... But Valentina was not at all sure if Amelia would like to tell Valentina about her husband or not as she only told Valentina that how cruel he can get with her and Valentina if they both cross his line or words... 

But Valentina used to hear many good things about her father... But she frowned on not knowing why her mother never told her what good things he did outside the house...
