Chapter 139 Tracked
"Only 42 percent?" Erian involuntarily frowned. After all he had been through, his evolution process wasn't even half way completed yet. If this continues, it was unknown when he would actually be able to transplant the Blackfire gene successfully.
Thankfully, he had several evolution serums with him. Apart from the two he had bought previously, the loot from the vault also had three evolution serums. The evolution serums could increase the process by ten percent, reducing time effectively. But it had several side effect.
Firstly, ingesting the serum was insanely painful and after each use, the body would be in a state of fatigue for a few period of time.
Secondly, after each use, the effect of the serum reduces by 1 percent which meant the serum can only be used ten times and the effect would completely fade, no matter how much the person uses.
Thirdly, it is very expensive to get as even a small company in the secular world can't afford the cost of one serum.
Naturally, Erian wouldn't dare use the serum here. Since he was still in a weaned state, and had only revriceted about half of his strength. His cells could now automatically repair and replicate itself as he constantly pumped nuclear energy into his cells. At this point it would only take a day for him to fully recover.
Previously, his body had been too weak and his cells too corrupted that his body instantly shut down and even his self regeneration was almost halted, if it weren't for the fact that the control of his cells were slightly within his capability with the help of the symbiote, he might have died.
"Stayed here long enough already, i need to leave." Erian quickly sorted out his things, placing the items in his backpack, he took his leave.
His position wasn't anywhere near the city center since he had left there in a hurry. At this period, the sky was dark and the entire city was pitch black with very few lighting coming from buildings with back up power or renewable energy.
With his senses, he was able to avoid meeting up with other students and also avoid the mindless titans that roamed the city.
But what Erian didn't know was that he was able to avoid trouble as every student including those geniuses from the Elite class and those monstrous geniuses of theSupernal Class were searching for him!!!
The only reason for that was simply the leaderboard. Erian was actually the top ranking student in the leaderboard even breaking the records of those from the Supernal class!
Most students were convinced Erian managed to find a loophole in the system, making him grind for points without actually doing anything. While some were only just curious about the Prime of the trooper class who had managed to rank first in all of the leaderboard
Naturally, this feat wasn't that shocking. Erian had struggled between life and death situations and managed to survive them, killing his opponent either by mistake or intent, the system recorded it. This was a feat that even the monsters from Supernal class might be unable to replicate. Seeing as he had eliminated two three-supergene monsters
Naturally, Erian wasn't at all aware of the commotion he had caused and just focusing all his attention on constantly feeding his cells nuclear energy, letting them heal up and replicate his already dead cells.
Oscillating his muscles, he shook off all of the dust that had accumulated at on skin. His backpack was simply to heavy and precious at this point which was why he kept it hidden somewhere safe where others wouldn't be able to get to it even with the gene that could smell colour, surely they wouldn't be able to smell a hundred meters into the ground.
A strange vibration suddenly ticked off Erian's senses and his nose flared. At first, confusion clouded Erian's face before he came to a sudden realization.
Instantly, his nuclear pulse glowed and power flowed within him like a wave. Accumulating that strength till his body couldn't take it anymore, he suddenly stomped his feet to the ground.
An earth quake rumbled as a wave rippled through the earth as though the earth was made of water.
The entire land within a mile radius shook shattered and was turned into rubble. With this, no one could track the exact location he placed his backpack.
The instant Erian covered the tracks, two droning sounds echoed. In the blink of an eye, the surrounding air a distance away blurred and with his increased senses, he was able to barely see two figures moving with intense speed.
Their rapid speed was put to a stop. They halted before Erian. Silence descend for a few seconds as they both stared at Erian. While Erian did the same.
Just a second later, the effect of the two figures breaking through the air barrier with their speed arrived. Instantly a sonic boom erupted as a massive blast of air slammed into Erian, blowing his air and his clothes backwards along with dust.
In just a second, Erian's recently dusted body was covered in a cake of dust.
"Cough! Cough! Cough!"
Waving the dust off his surroundings, Erian frowned, his eyes full of innocence and annoyance as he glanced at the two people like a total stranger.
"Who are you guys?"
The two figures were actually the third year students that were with Martha previously.
The handsome man glared intensely at Erian and with a cold chuckle, he spoke. "You are quite smart, leading us in a merry ride. I didn't think Geithner's super smell would be turned into a joke by a first year."
Erian's innocent face remained the same and then, a look of realization came to him. "Oh! I felt someone tracking me so I used a few methods to confuse them, didn't think it would be you two."
His face was then clouded with confusion. "But why is there two third-year students tracking a first-year student?"
