Senior Cutie looked in Zhao Luo's direction with widened eyes.

"Little Brother, behind you."

He shouted as the beast closed in on Zhao Luo.

Xiao Yu and Pi Hao tried to move towards him but their steps slowed down as even they realized that the beast was way faster than them.

'Noo.'

Pi Hao closed his eyes as the last scene he saw was the beast's head right behind Zhao Luo while Zhao Luo was looking at them with a smile.

Zhao Luo giggled as he looked at their reaction.

The beast being a sand lion, had a giant and sturdy body showing that it was not just your usual lion from any pack.

It stopped right behind Zhao Luo's back and opened its mouth.

A roar was expected or the sand lion may just be trying to rip off the head of the person in front of him.

That was also the moment Zhao Luo turned around to look at the sand lion.

The sand lion's mouth slowly closed and a sound escaped his mouth.

"Meow~"

Right after the sound of a cat was released by it, the sand lion closed its mouth.

"Was that its roar?"

Xiao Yi was shocked and said as he looked at Zhao Luo raising his hand towards the sand lion's head.

"Good boy. Bimba did you miss me?"

Zhao Luo asked the sand lion who started wagging its tail.

"I knew you wouldn't leave me."

Zhao Luo told Bimba while rubbing its head.

Indeed Bimba had never left the Xin Range's 10-km radius.

It wasn't like he didn't want to leave it but after trying numerous times and somehow returning at the stairs even when he went straight, Bimba had ultimately given up.

Instead of escaping the mountain range, Bimba chose to wait for Zhao Luo who had become its master after defeating it.

"Roar~"

A loud cry left Bimba's mouth and Zhao Lip proceeded to hop on Bimba's back.

"Let's go."

He patted Bimba and Bimba started making its way towards the three brothers of Zhao Luo who were looking at Zhao Luo as though he was a monster himself.

"What are you waiting for?"

Zhao Luo questioned as he looked at Senior Cutie, Xiao Yu, and Pi Hao.

"Get on."

Zhao Luo patted on the big back of Bimba as he said them to get on its back.

"Wow."

Senior Cutie was the first to jump on Bimba's back.

Following his awe and action, Xiao Yu and Pi Hao also joined Zhao Luo and Senior Cutie.

"Brother, you never mentioned you were keeping a sand lion as a pet. When did you even tame it?"

Xiao Yu who had been calling 'Zhao Luo' by simply his name, was using a respectful title to address Zhao Luo.

'I want a sand lion too.'

Xiao Yu thought as he waited for Zhao Luo's answer.

Since he hadn't even seen Bimba fight so Xiao Yu could only imagine how strong the beast was.

Zhao Luo smiled and looked at Xiao Yu.

"You never asked."

He said while laughing at Xiao Yu's respectful tone.

"Hmph, don't tell me then."

'Fool.'

Xiao Yu turned his head away from Zhao Luo and pouted while Zhao Luo also looked ahead in the direction Bimba was taking them.

"We will be able to reach them earlier than I thought."

Senior Cutie said slowly while looking down at Bimba.

'I can feel the hot wind passing through my hair.'

"Oh wait, I don't have any."

Because of the shock, he had after learning about Zhao Luo's Bimba, Senior Cutie even forgot about his barren head.

"Brother, what are you mumbling about?"

Zhao Luo asked Senior Cutie who was sitting next to him

"I am just happy to have a little brother like you."

Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo as being all serious wasn't his thing and now he could just sit back and chill on the back of Bimba as he catches up to them.

"I am not falling for that."

Zhao Luo smiled in response and said the words he believed through his smile.

"Hah, I guess I can't fool you anymore."

"Yes, and since Bimba is my beast, I hope you understand."

Zhao Luo replied to Senior Cutie the moment he knew he was caught.

"Then let's do this, I will give you a part of my rewards after we return. Okay?"

Senior Cutie tried to bargain with Zhao Luo who started laughing.

"Hahahaha."

Zhao Luo's innocent laugh was loud yet not annoying in any manner.

"I never asked for anything but if you want to give something to me, then it will be my pleasure."

Zhao Luo acted dumb but he had indeed forced Senior Cutie to say those words unconsciously by leading him on.

"Little Brother, you are becoming very good at duping others."

Senior Cutie complained as he looked at Xiao Yu and Pi Hao who were laughing at his sad situation.

"I am just learning from the best."

Zhao Luo smirked and stared at Senior Cutie as he was the one who was always fooling him yet now Zhao Luo was just giving his senior a taste of his own medicine.

"Sigh. I lose."

Senior Cutie gave up and looked ahead towards the direction of the Qi Range which was thousands of kilometers away from the Xin Range.

Zhao Luo also followed his gaze as this was just the start of their journey as they hoped to reach the spies of the Qi range led by the outer disciple of the Qi Sect before the spies reached the Qi Mountain Range.

An hour passed and Zhao Luo was still looking around as the scenery around him stayed the same while Bimba moved swiftly towards the direction of the Qi Sect.

He and the others looked ahead hoping to catch the sight of their targets but till now there was no such luck.

"Do you think, they are already at the Qi Range?"

Pi Hao questioned as the burning sun and the hot desert was making him sweat so hard that he was losing his rationality.

Under such intense and unbearable conditions, everyone would be the same.

"No chance."

Senior Cutie replied with confidence.
