Almighty Summoner System

Joana blew the dust that had been accumulating above the thick book before she placed it on the table, just beside the Beast parts that Ban had retrieved earlier. 

Ban observed the book closely and on its cover, he could see the title of the book- Records of Beast!

Seeing 'Leon's' face turning towards the book, Joana immediately explained what it was. "Mr. Leon, this is a book that has been passed down within my family for generations. My family has been doing this kind of business for many years…"

She stopped for a second and after releasing a heavy breath, she continued, "Anyways, this book recorded all of the Beast they encountered in their lifetime and their prices as well as the Beast parts used. I'm not familiar with the Black Eye Bug you mentioned but I reckon seeing something like that when I read this book months ago."

Ban nodded his head in understanding. He thought that it was only for her family to keep track of the Beast they are dealing with so they can have a reference in the future if need be. For a second, when he saw the title of the book, he even thought that it was a Book of Techniques. 

Joana started flipping the book pages after pages and it seems that its content was not a secret, seeing that she was openly showing it to him while searching for the information about the Black Eye Bug. 

Ban took a peek and noticed its contents, it was really different compared to the Book of Techniques, especially the one in his possession, the [Book of Techniques] All About Them, authored by the mysterious Ancient Summoner. 

The Records of Beast only have an image of the Beast, basic description, the use of every part as well as their individual prices. Meanwhile, the [Book of Techniques] All About Them listed all information of the Monsters and Beasts, their detailed description, their habitat, behaviors, methods to contract them, methods to kill them and even the detailed information of herbs and other materials needed for their respective evolution was recorded on his Book of Techniques. 

After a few minutes, Joana finally stopped on one page of the book. The writing was unclear for Ban but it seems that Joana was able to read it just fine seeing her excited expression. 

"Here it is… The Black Eye Bug!" Joana said with her eyes lit up due to excitement. 

She started reading the basic description of the Black Eye Bug as well as the prices for every part of the Beast's 'body'. And the more she read,the more astonished she became about how 'Leon' was able to slay this many Black Eye Bugs in just a day that they haven't seen each other. 

A while later, she turned her head towards 'Leon' before asking, "How about it, Mr. Leon, are they the same? 

"Yes! But there's an error on the information you've just read. Black Eye Bugs always lived in groups, and only the mother variant would stay away from the others. They are territorial so they won't allow more than one 'mother' to exist in one territory. That's why those Black Eye Bugs that wanted to evolve to the 'mother' variant needed to stay away as far as possible to start their own family of Black Eye Bug."

"The information you read said they live solely in an area was wrong. If someone manage to kill a Black Eye Bug and it wasn't the 'mother' variant, then there should be many more lying underneath aside from the one they just killed"

Joana's eyes lit up and the moment Ban started talking,she immediately recorded it down to the book, Records of Beasts. One thing, she knew that her family did not come from a formidable background and they only relied on the Adventurers while recording this information down. Second, she knew that 'Leon' was a formidable individual, came from a formidable background, and was even knowledgeable about Beasts and Monsters. 

She did not hesitate to cross out the previous information while immediately adding the new information that 'Leon' had just provided. 

Ban saw her actions but did not point it out, what he revealed was just basic information regarding the Black Eye Bug and there was no need to hide it. 

However, Joana did not think that way as she thought that what she did was unforgivable. She instantly stopped what she was doing and immediately bowed towards 'Leon' in an exaggerated manner. "I-I'm sorry, Mr. Leon. I recorded valuable information without your consent."

Her huge breast bounced up and down as she repeatedly bowed her head towards Ban's direction while asking for apology. The Hairless Cat on her shoulder could only hug tightly on her neck while its eyes bulged from nervousness. 

Ban was taken aback by her actions and he could not help but approach her to stop her from repeatedly bowing her head lest she got dizzy. "What are you doing? Stop that! That was only basic information regarding the Black Eye Bug, it doesn't matter if you recorded it down or not."

Ban then let go of her before waving his hands in mid-air while saying, "Don't bother about it anymore!" 

"But, Mr. Leon, it's still valuable information. How about this, as I've already recorded it down, you can ask anything from me and I will give it to you without any other strings attached." She said while averting her gaze from 'Leon's' face towards another direction. 

Her hand then slowly moved towards her shoulder while the other one slowly reached the tied strap at the center of her chest, as if hinting 'Leon' about something. 

"How about it, Mr. Leon?" She said with a soft voice as her trembling hand slowly pulled the strap at the center of her chest.

"Well... If you insist!" Ban said after a careful thought.
