Almighty Summoner System

A Lord Grade Beast Core in exchange for him curing the Elder Monk Tree? Ban did not think that he would be able to obtain a Beast Core this way, not even in his dream. Not to mention, it was Beast Core that was at the Multi Realm. He wondered how much Gold he would earn if he decided to sell it. 

"Leave it to me, Elder!" He hurriedly said afraid of the Elder Red-Panda taking back its words. 

"Alright! You can start now! I will only give this to you after I see my Elder Monk Trees returning to their previous vigor." The Elder Red-Panda said while walking towards the dead oldest Elder Monk Tree. 

Unlike the others, the oldest Elder Monk Tree was already beyond saving. The mother Black Eye Bug already sucked all of its essence and it could be said that the oldest Elder Monk Tree and the mother Black Eye Bug were already the same being. The Elder Red-Panda knows this fact and it doesn't have any plan on giving Ban a hard time by letting him revive a dead tree. 

"Do what you must do, young-Ban. You can find me here after you finish treating them."

With that being said, Ban immediately went towards the closest infected Elder Monk Tree around him. Using the method provided by the System, or more precisely the Book of Techniques, Ban immediately treated the infected Elder Monk Trees. 

Treating them was a process. It won't produce results the moment he treats them and he guessed that the changes might only appear after one or more weeks. It took him exactly an hour to treat all the infected Elder Monk Trees in the area. He also treats those Elder Monk Trees that were dying due to improper harvesting methods while he was at it. After he finished treating them, he immediately went towards the oldest Elder Monk Tree to report to the Elder Red-Panda his progress.

He explained what he had done to the Elder Red-Panda and the latter only nodded its head in approval. The Elder Red-Panda then allowed him to harvest as many Elder Monk Tree branches he wanted as long as he harvested them using the correct method. 

After a few minutes, Ban finished collecting all the Elder Monk Tree branches that he needed. He only took a total of 39 pieces so that Kuys would be able to have the remaining ones without needing to pay him extra. He only needs 5 branches for his medicine anyway. 

Not to mention, he was already afraid of repeating the previous incident where he obtained too many Red Cave Rocks which garnered the attention of Carmen, a well-known alchemist of the city. 

After harvesting, he went back towards the Elder Red-Panda to bid farewell. He was a little nervous during this time as he was worried that the Elder Red-Panda might get back on its word by not allowing him to leave. Fortunately, it didn't happen. 

Even though the Elder Red-Panda was not in a good mood due to what happened to its beloved Elder Monk Tree, it still treated him nicely aside from the fact that it attacked him earlier. However, he could blame no one other than himself for that incident to occur.

"Be careful on your way home, young-Ban! Just come by after a week to take care of the infected Elder Monk Trees, and the moment I see their vigor returning, I will give the Beast Core to you as a reward!" The Elder Red-Panda said while sitting atop the dead branch of the Elder Monk Tree. 

"Thank you, Elder!" Ban expressed his gratitude with a deep bow. And even Eva also bowed her head to express her gratitude towards the Elder Red-Panda. Not only due to the fact that it gives them a chance to obtain a Beast Core for free, their gratitude extended all the way to the fact that the Elder Red-Panda granted them mercy by letting them leave alive. 

"One more thing, young-Ban! The scroll that you got, use it well. Don't waste its content and take advantage of it on every possible occasion." 

Ban nodded his head before he turned around to leave the area. It was already past noon, and he and Eva still haven't eaten anything. He got the Mad-Lust's Rabbits meat inside his Dimensional Storage but he was afraid of taking it out as he doesn't know whether the Elder Red-Panda might get offended by his actions. After all, it said that it was the Guardian Beast of the Tranquil Forest, and taking out a dead Tranquil Forest Beast in front of it might be inappropriate. 

Ban traced back the direction he used earlier and a moment later, he finally arrived at the wooden bridge where he interrupted and killed the Mad-Lust Rabbit. His stomach was already growling in hunger so the moment they passed the wooden bridge, Ban immediately gathered some firewood and started a fire to roast the meat of the Mad-Lust Rabbit. 

While waiting for the meat to get cooked, Ban took off his Ant Mask as well as the Noble Moth Cloak from his body. He could not help but shake his head on the web-like cracks on the surface of the Ant Mask. 

The cracks on the Ant Mask was evidence of how strong the Elder Red-Panda was. He doesn't know its exact strength but he knew that it was already past the Multi Realm. Not to mention that it was only a flick. If the Elder Red-Panda was serious about attacking him, he doesn't know if there would still be any bones left behind to collect. 

Even the C-Grandmaster Rank, Black Eye Bug's strength looks like a baby in front of the Elder Red-Panda strength. It could do nothing even though it already knew that it would die the next second. 

Witnessing the Elder Red-Panda strength, Ban became even more adamant on getting stronger. He also thought about his mistake and he knew that he had become quite hasty on his actions before. He did not investigate properly and instantly believed the rumors that the guardian of the Elder Monk Trees were already gone. 

If it was any other Beast, and not a nice Beast just like the Elder Red-Panda that he encountered, he guessed that he would already be dead by now.
