Almighty Summoner System

Now that Ban saw the state of the oldest Elder Monk Tree, he now knew what was happening, and of course, the remedy for it. 

"Elder, when did this Elder Monk Tree start dying?" 

"I don't know young-one. After I came out of seclusion, that's already the state it was in. Sigh! If only I knew I didn't enter seclusion…" The Elder Red-Panda said. 

"Don't worry, Elder, we could still save the other Elder Monk Trees." Ban reassured after seeing the dejected expression of the Elder Red-Panda. 

"The reason was really not due to improper harvesting methods… The Elder Monk Trees are infected by bugs, Elder." Ban added. 

"Bugs? I doubt that. I also thoroughly checked the dying Elder Monk Trees but I could not find any bugs. That's why I came to the conclusion that it was due to improper harvesting methods. And in truth, my harvesting method pales in comparison to the harvesting method that you used." The Elder Red-Panda denied his claims. 

After it ended its seclusion, the Elder Red-Panda immediately noticed the strange appearance of its beloved Elder Monk Tree. It used its sense to try and see what's happening but to no avail. It was then it saw the state of the other trees that had signs of being harvested brutally. 

"No, I'm sure of it, Elder!" Ban exclaimed. The System, and the Book of Techniques doesn't lie. He obtained the full knowledge about the Elder Monk Tree the moment he let the System inject it inside his mind. 

The drying of leaves, rotting trunks, and the dark spots on the trunk of the oldest Elder Monk Tree, it only pointed to one thing, bugs or parasites. He still doesn't know what kind of bugs or parasite, but he was sure that they should still be around, knowing that the other Elder Monk Trees had just started to show signs of getting infected.

"Elder, can you check again?" 

"Alright!" The Elder Red-Panda nodded its head while stroking its long white beard. 

Its eyes then opened slightly before a green light was emitted from it. Ban wanted to observe but he felt shivers upon seeing those green eyes. He could only turn his head towards the directions where  the Elder Red-Panda was gazing in reluctance. 

"There's no bugs present." The Elder Red-Panda stated as the color of its eyes started to return to normal. The Elder Red-Panda then turned its head towards Ban, waiting for his answer. 

Ban thought for a moment, and recalling the spots that the Elder Red-Panda only gazed at, he could not help but think about one particular spot that the Elder Red-Panda might have neglected. 

"Elder, try again on the roots!" He hurriedly exclaimed. 

The Elder Red-Panda was also taken by surprise by what he just said. 'I did not think about it before.' The Elder Red Panda no longer wasted any more time as it hurriedly used its green eyes again to inspect the situation at the Elder Monk Tree's roots. 

And the moment its gaze landed on the roots, its eyes instantly went wide as its body trembled in rage. 

It's aura rose to peak as the atmosphere around the area went cold all of a sudden. The orange robe it was wearing, the long white beard, the long white brows, its mustache, as well as its red and white furs floated as defying gravity. 

Ban and Eva felt shivers down their spine even though they knew that the rage was not directed towards them. The pressure that they felt was astronomical and they even had trouble breathing due to the intense pressure they were experiencing. 

As they could not take it anymore Ban decided to take a few steps away from the enraged Elder Red-Panda, and it was only after he took more than twenty wide steps that he and Eva could finally breathe easily again. 

The pressure that emitted from the Elder Red-Panda still kept on increasing. And as if a volcano that was just about to erupt, it's body started to swell, as its body kept on releasing hot air. 

"HOW DARE YOU!" 

The Elder Red-Panda bellowed at the top of its lungs and Ban felt that his eardrums would burst the next second. He did not wait for that to happen and immediately took another twenty wide steps away from the Elder Red-Panda.

The Elder Red-Panda made some strange and rapid movements in the air which ended with the Elder Red-Panda seemingly grabbing something out of thin air. 

At that moment, the ground beneath the Elder Monk Tree trembled as if it was struck by an earthquake. The ground started to split a second later and not a second later, a huge spherical Beasts emerged from within the spilt ground. 

It was a black eyeball with three wriggling tentacles or veins growing under it.Two of the tentacles wriggled freely while the remaining one at the center,  was still connected to something beneath it. 

The black eyeball looks like it wanted to escape from something that was grabbing it tightly. It trembled as its two tentacles slapped the air around it. 

When it felt that it could do nothing to escape from the one who was grabbing it, the reddish-white iris of the eyeball finally moved and looked around to survey its surroundings. And when its gaze landed at the Elder Red-Panda gazing at it with intense hate, it could not help but shake violently while in mid-air. 

It's desire to escape intensified upon seeing the Elder Red-Panda. And when it realized that it could not escape no matter what, it suddenly stopped resisting and instead, its center tentacle started to throb like a heart, as if it was being pumped by the eyeball itself. 

And the next moment, the Elder Monk Tree behind the black eyeball suddenly trembled before its two dead branches started to wriggle like a snake. 

SHRIEK!

The black eyeball shook its whole eyeball while releasing an ear piercing scream out of nowhere. It's as if it was saying that the Elder Red-Panda will pay the price for disturbing it underground. 

BOOM!
