Almighty Summoner System

Eva immediately decided to use the [Skill] Wrath, upon seeing her formidable opponent. Although she already expected it in the first place. 

Eva could now understand what the other Beast would feel if they saw her. And just like some of them, they can choose to submit or to defy, and she obviously chose the latter. 

Her body immediately swelled as she entered her Wrath state. Her eyes became bloodlust while her wings no longer looked beautiful as it was now covered by red veins. 

Her transformation lasted only a few seconds and even though the Elder Red-Panda could have done something at that point to distract her, it did not do it and instead only looked at Eva with interest. As if it was looking at a child, trying to play an adult. 

Swoosh!

Eva dashed towards the Elder Red-Panda ignoring the fact that there are no chances of winning. 

Boom! Boom! Boom!

She releases punch after punch but to no avail. The Elder Red-Panda would only either deflect it or block it at the last second. Sometimes, the Elder Red-Panda would even counterattack, by flicking her shoulders lightly enough to not knock her away. 

Sometimes, the Elder Red-Panda would even laugh while blocking in an exaggerated manner, as if telling Eva that what she's doing was absolutely unnecessary as it didn't produce any effects, aside from it getting bored. 

After a few minutes, the Elder Red-Panda noticed at the corner of its slightly closed eyes that Ban's body was twitching. 

Boom!

The Elder Red-Panda blocked Eva's attacks yet again before slapping her waist while using a little bit of strength, causing her tiny body to fly like a broken kite in Ban's direction. 

Eva released a cough while in mid-air as she somersaulted to land softly on the ground while using her wings. 

She landed perfectly on Ban's side and when she heard him grunting, she could not help but turn her head towards him.

Grrr! Grrrr! Grrr! 

At this point, Eva's five-minute duration for her Wrath state had already ended. She walked towards Ban and caressed the Ant Mask that now had web cracks on its forehead. She no longer wanted to fight, and even though she still felt dejected that she was not able to avenge her owner, she could only suck it up and accept the reality. 

Ban slowly opened his eyes behind the broken Ant Mask. His consciousness immediately blanked out earlier the moment the Elder Red-Panda flicked his forehead. He no longer knew what happened after that and when his consciousness came back, he saw Eva kneeling beside his head, with her face lowered to the ground while it showed a mix of emotions of worry, anger, and disappointment. 

Ban got up and shook his head to shake off his dizziness. He still felt disoriented as to what had happened, and he could only pull Eva and hug her tightly, trying to console her worries away. 

Eva was taken aback by his actions, but she nevertheless let him do what he wanted. 

Grrr! Grrr! Grrr! 

Ban tilted his head as he analyzed what she was trying to say. "We don't have a chance? A chance from what?" 

He tilted his head and he couldn't help but look around him in confusion. And when he saw the Elder Red-Panda not too far away from them, that's when he recalled everything that happened earlier. 

He immediately stood up from the ground, and while holding Eva, he retreated a few steps back to distance himself from the Elder Red-Panda. He now understood what Eva meant by them having no chance. 

Of course, he also knew it from the moment there were a series of question marks that appeared on the System screen and the fact that it was able to talk. He already knew by then that they don't have any chance of retreating, much less winning. 

In fact, he didn't even want to fight in the first place but alas, it was the Elder Red-Panda who attacked him first. 

And by seeing Eva's state, as well as the Royal Ant Guard that was still lying on the ground weakly, he could already tell that Eva tried to fight it, without getting any results. 

Ban made a sigh as he ordered Eva to retrieve the Royal Ant Guard from the distance. Eva followed his instructions and with a wave of her hands, the Royal Ant Guard transformed into a white light before it disappeared on her forehead. 

Ban no longer dared to use the System to scan the Elder Red-Panda anymore. He briefly recalled what it said on why it had attacked him suddenly before. It was because he used something that can identify it, which it categorized as being rude. 

Although he briefly recalled there being an 'updating' text below those question marks, and even with his curiosity, he ignored it in the end, as he thought that looking at it might still alert the Elder Red-Panda.

"Now that you've woken up, I'll ask you again young-one, how did you do it?" The Elder Red-Panda said while stroking its beard in an unperturbed manner. 

Although its eyes were closed, Ban could still feel its gaze landing on him. He could only gulp a mouthful of saliva as he tried to recall what kind of thing the Elder Red-Panda was trying to inquire. 

The Elder Red-Panda waited for Ban's answer while stroking its beard up and down without a hurry. 

"Don't feel nervous young-one, I don't bite. I don't have any intention to harm you and what I did before was only a slight punishment." The Elder Red-panda said with a laugh after it realized that Ban had still not answered even after a full minute had already passed. 

Ban could only shake his head from what he just heard. 'You really don't bite but your flick can cause someone to faint!'

Ban released a heavy breath to try and calm his tense nerves.. He just hopes that what the Elder Red-Panda said was true, that it didn't have any intention of harming him, or else, he was very sure that he would not be able to leave here alive.
