Ban also just realized that even though he was already living at Eagle City for over two years, he still wasn't very familiar with the ins and outs of the city. 

After all, most of the time, he only circles around the vicinity of Kuys Bar to search for quick jobs and earn extra coins. Although there were also times that he visited other parts of the city, it was, after all, only a small part of it. 

With him becoming an Adventurer and a 'Summoner', he thought that getting familiar with the place he was based in should be his priority aside from getting stronger and earning coins. 

"Well, I don't have any other map aside from this so I won't be selling this to you. But you can buy something like this for 2 Gold Coins. There's a lot of it available around the market and some of them. are even more detailed than this one." Carmen said after a moment of deliberation. 

Ban did not force it as he nodded his head in understanding. He also took advantage of this time and also asked about the Pure River Water. 

Joana and Carmen have it, but they aren't willing to sell it, saying it was a must-have item for every adventurer. And besides, they only have a small bottle of it so selling some wasn't an option either. 

When George asked why it was very important for an Adventurer to have it, the two of them answered at the same time, saying it was used to determine whether a Dark Guild member or those who dabbled in Dark means to become stronger is nearby. 

According to them, the Pure River Water will boil if it senses any Evil around it. And of course, no one can tell to what extent of Evil it could sense, but it was almost guaranteed that those who use Dark means, just like every member of Dark Guild, will be detected without fail.

Ban thought that its effect was familiar. It's as if he has heard of it before. 

When George asked about what it looked like, Joana took her vial and showed it to them. It was a green-colored liquid that looked pure and unintended. 

Upon seeing that, Ban then recalled the lime-colored liquid at the Adventurer's Guild earlier. Aside from their color differences, they have the same effect of identifying a Dark Guild member or those who dabbled in dark means. 

Anyways, he also inquired where he could get some but the two are clueless about it. They said that they bought theirs from an auction years ago and ever since then, none have appeared again. 

Ban nodded his and asked if they knew someone who had any clue and the two of them also didn't know. But they said there will be an auction a week from now and there might be a Pure River Liquid to be auctioned during that time. But with the Beast Tide, they are also unsure if the auction would still continue. 

Ban nodded his head and took note of the auction. He would surely attend if he still hadn't found all of the needed materials during that time. 

Before bidding them farewell, Ban heard Joana talk about how she will go to Rendal's place tomorrow to see if he still has the spine of the Hairy Boar, and also to deliver the remaining Red Hermit Termite eyes to be made into an item for her Hairless Cat. 

When Ban heard of it, he recalled the information of the Hairless Cat and why it was acting that way. He thought that he should reveal it, in exchange for her help about the location of the Boney Porcupine earlier. 

"You don't need to worry about the well-being of your Hairless Cat. It's undergoing or preparing for a natural evolution and it just feels nervous about its security. It's wary of its surroundings as it is afraid of being interrupted while evolving. What you need to do is to let it feel secure, no need to make an item that can only calm it down for a moment." 

"My suggestion is for you to rub or caress your Hairless Cat every night. It will help in calming it. It would also feel that you really cared for it and that you won't leave it, no matter what." 

"By the time its mouth starts to water due to its own saliva, that would be an indication that it's already trying to evolve. This time, you must protect it at all costs, or else its evolution would be interrupted."

Ban said in all seriousness. He was quite jealous that her Hairless Cat was undergoing a natural evolution. It means that Joana did not or does not need to spend a huge amount of coins to evolve her monster as it is already undergoing evolution on its own. 'How lucky!' 

Hearing him, Joana's eyes could not help but lit up in excitement. As Gold Rank Adventurer, she has access to knowledge that normal or low ranked adventurers can only dream of obtaining. She, of course, knew about natural evolution. It means that she doesn't need to pay anything and her Monster would still evolve into a stronger existence.

"Is that true? Mr. Leon?" Joana could not believe it and thought that she might be hearing things after getting paranoid about her Hairless Cat's well-being so she asked again for confirmation. 

"You can choose to believe it or not, but just treat it as the pay for providing me with the Boney Porcupines habitat," Ban answered calmly. He already said his piece and it's up to Joana if she decides to believe or still chooses to waste the remaining Red Hermit Termite eyes for an Item that won't even help her current situation that much. 

Seeing his indifferent attitude, Joana nodded her head as she said, "No, I believe in you Mr. Leon. I can't thank you enough for this valuable information."

She took the nervous Hairless Cat on her shoulders before she bowed deeply towards Mr. Leon or Ban. 

Ban only nodded his head and waved his arms in response to her action. He then bid them a farewell before turning around along with George who followed closely behind them.

Joana also followed suit a while later after she sold the remaining Red Hermit Termite eyes to Carmen. She no longer needs it as Mr. Leon already told her what she needs to do anyway. 

Carmen also expressed her thanks as she also thought that with these additional Red Hermit Termite eyes, she would be able to make more of the new version of Beast's Repellent powder. 

Some time later, Joana would find herself lying on her bed while caressing her Hairless Cat in an affectionate manner. And just like what Mr. Leon had stated, the Hairless Cat would also produce a small amount of saliva on its mouth during this time that it was being caressed softly by her.
