Almighty Summoner System

Ban smiled as he caressed Eva's head gently. He already calmed down and thought that if he could not contract it now, he'll just try and contract it again tomorrow after the cooldown of the skill, Blood Contractor ended. 

"I'm alright now, thank you for that kiss, little Eva!" 

That kiss really did calm him down. He did not know if it was due to them experiencing the Perfect Harmony state together but he felt that he and Eva had become much closer than before. 

As he could no longer do anything about it, Ban decided to store the Unknown Egg inside his Beast Tattoo. Fortunately, it was successful this time and he did not feel any resistance when he stored it inside. 

He was worried that the Unknown Egg might attract another batch of Two-Tailed Rats again if he left it on the surface. The Beast Tattoo is a separate space that only he has access to. It was just like the Dimensional Storage Earring but on the Beast Tattoo, he could store Beasts which are alive. 

According to the System, the reason for this was that the Dimensional Storage Earring only consists of space and no time, while the Beast Tattoo has both space and time, just like the outside world. 

The Unknown Egg was now sitting right beside the healing Rogue Red Termite. He just hopes that nothing bad will happen to either of them. 

Using the lamp, he checked the whole nest one more time to check if he missed any Two-Tailed Rat. After confirming that there were really no longer any Two-Tailed Rats alive, Ban decided to destroy everything, especially the furs that they used to mark their territory. He was worried that if he let them be, other Two-Tailed Rats might come again in the future and make this place their nest again. 

After a while, Ban finished the demolition and before he made his way back, he collected the lamps that he scattered earlier first. Although the Luminous Stones' efficacy will dwindle after some time, he figured that he could still use them again in the future. 

Ban stored everything that needs to be stored in order to not appear like a different person. Eva had already transformed back to her normal form and after making sure that he was already 'clean', he finally decided to go out of the hole on the huge 'tube' underground facility. 

He just traced back where he came from earlier while also destroying the 'clue' that the Two-Tailed Rats left on their tracks. He could see dozens of Two-Tailed Rats dead bodies on his path but he did bother about them as they aren't sellable anyway. Taking them along, or even piling them in one pile will just be a waste of time. 

After a while, Ban saw the crack that he jumped from earlier. He looked up and realized that it was actually pretty high. He looked around and saw the huge block of wood that the Two-Tailed Rats used to get out the crack. 

Swoosh!

He made a leap and using that block of wood as a platform, he instantly arrived above the crack. 

And right at the moment he stood up, he was suddenly startled as a woman was actually standing in front of him quite closely. Eva was about to raise her insect hand but before she could proceed with her plan, Ban had already taken three steps away to distance himself from the woman. 

The woman also took a few steps back as she was also startled by Ban's sudden appearance. 

"What the hell… where did you come from?" The woman wearing an all white outfit cursed as she placed her hand on above the weapon that was hanging on her waist. 

"From the crack?!" Ban said as he also grasped the sword that was given to him by Boss Mario as one of the rewards. 

The woman tilted her head to the side as she observed the huge crack not far from them. 

"What did you do there?" She said as she slowly drew out her weapon. 

"Killing Two-Tailed Rats? Wait… who are you? What's your purpose for being here?" 

However, instead of answering him, the woman instead turned her head to the other side. She made a low whistle using her two fingers and not long after, a screech could be heard as a huge bird circled around the area before landing on the woman's shoulder. 

"I apologize for being rude earlier as I thought you were an enemy. Anyways, my name's Manda, a Silver Rank Adventurer! I'm here for a Quest regarding the recent appearances of Two-Tailed Rats in the city and the clues lead me here." The woman named Manda said as she observed Ban closely.

She's been investigating the case of the influx of Two-Tailed Rats appearing on the city lately and it took her two days to be able to find this location, in which she believes where the nest of the Two-Tailed Rats were located. 

When she arrived earlier, she noticed a movement beneath the crack so she prepared to ambush it, thinking that it was a Two-Tailed Rat. However, what appeared before her was actually a boy with ragged clothes and messy appearance. 

She does not really mind standing in front of him and if not only for the sudden danger that she felt, she would not have moved an inch from where she stood earlier. She thought that it was one of her enemies so she hurriedly called for her Summon that was patrolling for Two-Tailed Rats in the area after stalling for some time. However, when she heard the 'boy' saying that he was killing Two-Tailed Rats, she immediately realized that he was also an Adventurer, just like herself. 

And so, she made an apology and even introduced herself while highlighting the 'Silver Rank' part as a way to show dominance. She chuckled as she imagined what would the boy's expression be if he heard that she was already a Silver Rank Adventurer?

However, contrary to her expectation, the boy was actually super calm about it.
