Almighty Summoner System

Their enemies were only a bunch of X-Mortal Rank Beasts, Two-Tailed Rats. However, Ban won't underestimate them due to their low Ranks as Two-Tailed Rats relied more on their strength in numbers than their individual strength. 

He thought that using two Reinforce on Eva was the right thing to do as on one note, what Eva feels, he would also feel it due to their Perfect Harmony connection. Second, even though Eva was stronger than them while still on the same rank, he knew that sooner or later, one or two attacks from the Two-Tailed Rats would get past her defense. And third, the Skill 'Reinforce' has a cooldown of thirty minutes, and its cooldown will only start counting down the moment he already used all of the stacks. 

He used it instantly so that he could save time and let it go into cooldown immediately. However with the double Reinforce, one could say that Eva was actually invincible right now as their enemies only consisted of low rank rats. 

But it was only a temporary thing as the Skill Reinforce can only last for four minutes. That is the reason why Ban wanted to get rid of as many Two-Tailed Rats as possible during this time. 

"Attack!" Ban yelled as he waved the sword vertically to cut down the Two-Tailed Rat that jumped towards his face. 

Swoosh!

His sword traveled swiftly and with its sharpness paired with Ban's strength, the blade sliced through the body of the rat just like a hot knife cutting through butter. 

Eva flapped her wings and she immediately penetrated the center part of the Two-Tailed Rat's formation. She wrecked havoc there as she let the others bite her without taking any damage while she ripped apart the other Two-Tailed Rats with pure strength. She also used the Skill, 'Bite' and 'Fluid Release' at this time and before she knew it, dead bodies had already piled up beside her.

She flapped her wings again to move to a different location before doing the same thing again. 

On the other side, Ban had already taken out the broken Ant Mask as well as the Noble Moth Cloak and one of the Twin Baton to pair with his sword. The moment he wore the broken Ant Mast as well as the Noble Moth Cloak, the movements of the Two-Tailed Rats around him immediately halted due to fear. 

However, their halt was only temporary as they immediately resumed their relentless attacks a moment later. It's as if they no longer cared about their emotions as they only focused on fighting the intruders. 

With the Ant Mask and Noble Moth Cloak's effect of being indestructible on his current realm, Ban's situation immediately eases up a notch. Before he equipped them earlier, his side would always sting the moment one or two attacks of the Two-Tailed Rats get past his defense. 

However, after equipping the two items, he could rest easy and he could even choose to no longer evade the Two-Tailed Rats attacks. But Ban did not do it as even though he won't get wounded, he will still be able to feel the vibrations caused by the attacks. And besides, he does not want to overly rely on the items as he wanted to hone his fighting skills while fighting. And would not be able to do that if he only relied on the overpowered defensive capability of his two items. 

Dead bodies of Two-Tailed Rats piled up on Ban's back and both sides. Not far from him, Eva had also done the same, even killing more than the numbers that Ban killed. 

The scene continued as they slowly moved closer towards the source of all this dog-sized rat. Even though they already eliminated over thirty Two-Tailed Rats in total, more were still coming from the same source. 

It was then that Ban started to suspect something. It was unusual to have this many Two-Tailed Rats in one normal nest. 

"There might be an Albino Two-Tailed Rat at the end of this rat horde!" Ban exclaimed in surprise the moment he arrived at that guessed. 

According to the System, the Albino Two-Tailed Rat was like the succubus of the Two-Tailed Rats race. They are not that rare but one would also not be able to encounter them easily. 

The Albino Two-Tailed Rat can release a kind of toxin that is pleasant to the nose of the other normal Two-Tailed Rats. The toxin will spread from one rat to another until all of the Two-Tailed Rat in the area has already gathered around the Albino Two-Tailed Rat. 

In some sense, the Albino Two-Tailed Rat could also be considered as the Queen or the King of the Two-Tailed Rats. However, unlike the official Queen or King, the Albino Two-Tailed Rat was still a Normal Grade Beast. 

But by using the special toxin present on their body, the Albino Two-Tailed Rat can gather all of the Two-Tailed Rat existing in one territory to become a one big force. That's how Ban came up with the idea that there existed an Albino Two-Tailed Rat at the end of this horde. 

His eyes immediately became brighter as he recalled the knowledge that the Albino Two-Tailed Rats can be sold at a high price, especially if they are sold alive. And for the System, or the Book of Techniques to be labelled as worth a high price, then it must really be insanely high. 

Ban rotated his shoulder to relax his shoulder. His eyes underneath the Ant Mask burned with determination as he suddenly felt even more motivated to kill the Two-Tailed Rats faster. 

Swoosh! Bang!

A rat pounced at his side and immediately collided with the Noble Moth Cloak. The rat felt as though it collided with a wall as it felt dizzy before falling to the ground. It tried to shake its head to get rid of the dizziness but it suddenly noticed that it's head would no longer move just like what it wanted it to do. 

It then realized that it's vision was suddenly split in half horizontally, and before its thought could finish processing what had happened, Ban had already kicked it off to the side as he ran towards Eva who had also just finished killing her prey.
